I recently got a Cherry AK from a friend 
so I am 7 weeks into my first flower with her... Oddly my mom didn't pre-flower (auto) for the first couple months, not until I messed with the lighting sched... strangely, it was only after going from 18/6 to over 24hr of light

Sure is... I just culled her, she is excellent but compared to modern (American) strains IMO she was lacking. I'm looking for the best of the best for breeding

I have Cherry AK x Cherry Wifi from ol' Baked Beanz outdoors in New MEx, 2 plants that are in holes in the ground with happy frog. Doing well. Grasshoppers everywhere... Pics July 20

I always thought that Cherry ak was a great breeding tool. Adds weight, and a nice rigid structure to anything it touches. You'll even pull Cherry phenos out of whatever it touches.

I felt the pheno I had, had bland Dutch terps... other than that I've got no complaints, she throws a ton of pistils in veg, but that's certainly better than pollen
I am primary interested in breeding, so unless a plant has crazy terps or is just crazy potent I can't begin to think about crossing her.
Here are the crosses I currently have in flower:
I am using a Dosi22 male and an Urkle I sprayed with ElitexElite to pollinate my best and brightest
and here is a pic of the Cherry AK which unfortunately I culled to use the space for tasty plants

Targeted breeding is awesome but for some reason the crosses you think won't be special for some reason usually are. It's weird the way it works.

According to Adam Dunn the Cherry pheno could be found in about in about 1:999 (one in a thousand) seeds from packs of Serious' AK-47...Back in the day I heard to much more common, but IDK
Pplus I imagine like any other classic elites, there's quite a lot of fakes too...just look at Urkle and that was one of a kind seed/plant.
Sad that people like Mike/Bike from "Get Seeds Right There" ONLY sells fakes despite having access to legit genetics, he for some reason chooses to sell BS
Those type of people give zero fucks about the gene pool, $ is all that matters to them... the clandestine nature of how cannabis used to be really attracts scumbags-hopefully it's changing for the better, but with all the damn Auto flowers being pumped out IDK

first was from Bike and the 2nd I guess was a labeling mix-up by Cloney, dude doesn't tag the plants themselves, which is just asking for confusion/mix-ups....he also sent me some kind of Headband instead of the VA Ghani I wanted.Its a lot of damn work raising a plant, taking back-up clones and then flowering her just to find out it's wrong. I will be much, much more selective who I get clones from now on for a whole host of reasons...I chalk it up as experience that was necessary to get to where I'm trying be as a breeder
Cherry AK47 x Alien Kush, I got these seeds around 2012-ish.
Much more sativa than I expected, though her brother is more BLD.
Both have Ludens cherry cough drop stem rubs.

WOW Strange morphology for a hybrid of this nature, i hope it will give you some good buds in a decent flowering time.
That alien kush really threw some funky phenos from what I remember. I'm a huge fan of the alien tech. I think that's where all the random expressions come from.
