Okay...
Grow has been officially rebooted, the cab has been completely emptied, with only the 4 s60xlr2s inside now.
On monday will be sowing 1 EasyRyder FEM (Lr2xAutoAK) and 10x Purple AK47(testers)
Have to thank mossy for the awesome genetics and his generosity, much appreciated mate
I will have space for 3 more seedlings, so what do you think I should start guys ?
I currently have these: Bluestreak f2s, sour60 f2s, sour60xlr2, bluestreakxlr2, and bluestreak F1s (tho I will keep these aside for later). I might go ahead and pop 3 more s60xlr2 so that I have more of a selection to inbreed...
PS: I have to thank a friend who wants to remain anonymous for the sour 60 f2 seeds I got, as I myself wasn't able to make any sour60 seeds (well, 4 seeds from one plant but blah). Much appreciated mate, I won't forget this

Actually sowing 3 S60xLR2s, 1 EasyRyder, and 10 purple aks. Wanted to sow the s60xlr2 earlier but I figured it'd be better if I start them all together so I can compare phenos better.
I added a reflector (finally) today, light got more intense for sure.
Guess I'll start a new thread on monday.

So .. I had 3 s60xlr2 sprouts right ? Not anymore. Sadly they were infected with pests that were rather annoying, and looking like they were sapping them already, not a perfect start. Since I have a big grow starting monday, I didn't want a possibility of an outbreak. I purged the cab quite literally, even with 99.9% anti-bacterial soap. Clean as a baby's arse now. Also took the time to clean the cooltube inside-out.
Next grow will be started in 13x13x13 cm pots instead of those long bottles, which where causing lots of problems.
So I'm starting 10 Purple AKs and 1 EasyRyder,, since I don't have any S60xLR2 sprouts anymore, I'm not restricted to starting that strain next monday. It'll give me time to think about what to start from S60xLR2, BlueStreakxLR2, BlueStreak F2, S60 F2, or BlueStreak F1.

So I was bored and decided to start the grow today. Just popped the seeds in and gave em a good misting. Now the wait starts.

After 60 hours (roughly) 2 purple aks and the easy ryder have started popping their way over the soil. I am guessing the rest will follow by today evening. Direct-in-coco approach has always worked great...
update: Wow, only 3 hours since I last checked them and already 3 more purple AKs are up. That makes 5/10 so far.

The Oldman is back in action following a terrible summer of record breaking heat, over 90 fahrenheit everyday for a couple of months. Seems I remember from florida indoors that over 90 would stunt their growth. Anyone know if that's true? Like tomatoes, they won't set fruit if it's over 85 or 90.
Getting my feet wet with LR, LR2 and LR Diesel, and am pretty impressed except for some low yields, that are probably from my lack of experience. Looks like the first couple of weeks is the critical time to build a root system and a big stem, but that's just where I'm having trouble. I can't keep uniform conditions, cause I was moving them in and out, temps shooting up and down, some very cool nights, all that and more. Like I'm in a medical mess with a sciatica situation thats producing leg cramps and lifting problems.
I want to cross the LR 2 with Joey Weeds SugarBerry, a beautiful one hitter, huge sativa. Hopefully get something for winter indoor grow. Anyone tried that cross yet?
I sure appreciate all the information I'm reading. And someone was right on when they said they were more addicted to growing than smoking.

Gave up on the last PurpleAK seed, took it out, no-show'er. Put 1 of my BS F2s in, and another to replace one S60xLR2 I was damn sure was gonna germ (thought I saw a mount building up, dug up, no show)

9/10 is great for fresh seeds. Theyre doing way better than MY fresh seed heheheh..
Here they are at 4 days, well 4 of em (since they all look the same now haha):

They are WAY better than hps by all means(heat,spectrum,lifetime). They have a few cons tho, the main one being they come in max 400W so that makes them a PITA for commercial growers. I, on the other hand, am pretty fine with this 250W'er. We'll see how well it does soon enough eh ?

Here's the problem child I'm talking about, gives new meaning to the term seedling:
I helped crack the seed by exerting leverage on the cracks using pins while carefully holding the seed in place. The crack has been widening but we'll see how this turns out by tommorow...
PS: The light is pretty bright and its a pain in the ass turning HIDs off cuz of cool-down time, so excuse the high exposure pictures...
