Nah, more like the morning after it, sowed them mid-day today. The BS all broke after 48 hours (I checked them on the 3rd day morning, but they were sowed on the 1st day at night)

Hoping to get the strong blueberry pheno in my bluestreaks so I can cross it with an s60 stud.
Nothing popped so far but its way too early.
I'll make a small update once all s60s and the LR2 pop their heads.

Still day 2 technically.. BS took 3 days so I'm not fretting.
Hope I'll have some babies to show tommorow.
Other than that, I got some nice haze from a local coffeshop. Very nice stuff...
edit: Day 3, still nothing. The fretting starts at day 6 though..

Sorry for the bit of a late join. Its been busy around here. I got my seat and my notes ready for this one. I have been looking into the CMH lamps my self as i deal in small cabinets and run a 250. My temps are good just would like a little cooler. I run 76-77f (24-25c) all day in 105-106f (41-42c) heat indexed weather. So always the cooler the better, with the least amount of energy used

About the CMH... it does get hot. The difference would be just how far down from the lamp this heat travels. CMH keeps the heat around the bulb and doesn't "throw" it, so some ventilation near the bulb and you'd be okay. I went with a cool tube because I got it for a good price and I wasn't really sure if the 250W alone would be okay for my tent (manufacturer recommends 150). Also I plan on keeping the bulb real close to the plants while they are LST'd during bloom for max light exposure, and the cooltube helps with that.
All seeds have popped except for the 6th sour 60 that I sowed later than the rest. LR2 has popped as well. So 100% germ so far with the direct-into-coco approach.

LR2 fem looks like it won't make it for some f****d up reason. Take a look guys:
No idea wtf this is. I'll wait, maybe the second set of leaves will grow fine. If it dies I'll pop 2 more bs and scratch the s60xlr2 project...

Seedling doesn't look damaged. Hopefully it will make it.
Still one s60 unpopped, fingers crossed...

Hey CE is that LR2 in your last post the "mutant" one? If so I think it'll outgrow this deformity, I've had similar seedlings come out normally after a week or so.
At first I thought you had a specimen which does not grow a meristem (only pops a leaf or two but no stem), those usually end up dying because they can't develop further than the cotyledon stage.
That BS seedling is a hairy little one isn't it?

Thx uts.. Sprouts didnt take much time tho imho, 3-4 days ain't no problem. The problem mostly was getting all this gear together. Lots of essential parts got delayed up to 7 weeks, which pushed back my grow lots..
Yeah LR2 looks a little better now, if you check the first pic I ever posted for it you'd think it was hopeless too. I think the first set of real leaves were damaged somehow. Hope it outgrows it. Will know in a few days ... fingers crossed.

I agree man its all about the sharing.
And that is some great info about the light. I knew that they got hot as other HID warm up, but didnt understand what made them a "cooler" shoice. I too am running a cool tube that i built for around 20 bucks. Its in the second post of my theories of one thread. This allowed me to be able to put the lights about 6-8 inches over the tops and it did not burn my hand. Mind you i have a 440cfm inline sucking the hot air away from the bulb
