night. night impho.. your first run is not for yeild . rather to get the clones ya want..
but you should get a good amount.. it will just take a bit longer. (ie seedling baby time, clone dont have that)

cali..depends.on the grow setup (what styly "hyrdo")
i personally love buds from Atami Bcuzz Bounce(coco) and Bio-NRG (grow, bloom, flavor, Bloom stim (organic from molasses)
for ease and Good Results go with
GH maxi grow, maxi bloom, or floramato (floramato for Sever LST).
dont forget the silica

heya green,, ya silica threw out WHole Grow..
each bottle of stuff is a bit diff.
but i mix my nutes check ph.. add a bit of silica. and then ph to what i want..
i dont do RO watter any more... just good filters.. (my watter source is pretty good)

depending on ur water and nutes you may just be able to use the silica as a ph up..
just a bit works great.. dont over do it to where ur ph downing the daylights out of it..
but is continually needed for cell division IE GROWTH/Flower

Well everyone I ordered my 400w bulb a couple days ago and its supposed to come in tomorrow. This is gonna be my first grow and I cant wait, I have some seeds germing right now that just poked out of their shells. I'm so excited haha

Yes, I had to change reservoirs in this time. I shocked the plants for sure. The girls are bigger than they look. A lot of LSTing going on there if you look closely.

Thanks. The uneven root development was my fault. I had a hole with no mister on it for a week, lol. I fixed that and now the other girls are catching up.

Using House and Garden Aqua flakes A+B, MultiEnzyme, Drip clean, and Sugar Daddy. Not one yellow leaf. All healthy plants. Just found a small case of thrips today. Not from my garden...trust me.

The one you posted is the 480V/120T model. You want the quad-tap. The quad tap will allow you to wire it to run on any of the following: 120/208/240/277. Plus, it's a few bucks cheaper :smile:.

that sucks you guys are waiting so long, I ordered monday and it arrived at the distribution center for my city yesterday so I should get it in today around 2pm. Im so excited, lol I havnt finished my cabinet all the way yet (fucking leaks because I didnt drill the holes properly. And I need to lightproof) but this is going to be my first grow. A test grow of 4 random bag seeds from some not so good bud but we'll see.

If you had to choose between these ballast which would you go with?
1)Advance Core and Ballast Kit with #71A8453-001D Ballast

2)general electric C769N621 ballast

How much coverage does a 400 cmh do 2X2 like a hps or a little more. From what I understand it seems I could use less cmh to do the job of hps

darth-- I can hardly find any info on the GE ballast, but if you can find a spec sheet, you should be able to find the Distance to Lamp (DTL) rating. This is based on the ignitor. I would choose whichever has the highest DTL.

I believe the same principle goes as far as watts per sqft as any other light. Same idea anyhow.

Wow I'm so excited I got my bulb in and have some bagseeds in rockwool. I cant wait for them to sprout so I can put them under the light!!!! haha this is my first grow I cant wait. Thx for all the info on the bulbs simba, if nothing else they allow for better pictures when the lights are on haha. Good luck to everyone else with their first grow under the CMH

Simba: Thanks man. I know I won't use Root Exelerators with an air stone. I won't use that product actually. My aero setup takes care of root development.
