I got the tissue results back today:
N has decreased which is ok imo this far into flower. At this level there are only a few leaves on the bottom yellowing. I had NO3- added to this test for more info and I'm kicking myself for not doing it the first time because I hit them with a drip treatment designed to reduce tissue nitrate (epsom, MoSO4-, fulvic) and I can't say how effective it was. What I do know is that there stil isn't very much insect pressure despite sap pH continuing to stay high:

Row 1: 20.5 brix, 6.7pH
Row 2: 20 brix, 7.1pH
Row 3: 21.5 brix, 7.0pH
I'm happy that Phosphorus and Mag are up, but Sulfur is still pretty low despite receiving considerable amounts of gypsum, epsom and various other micro sulphates.
The ratio of Ca to K is still bothering me but the plants have way more Ca than last years and there isn't a speck of botrytis despite them being soaked from dew every morning . Keeping my fingers crossed for continuing sun.
You'll also notice that Iron and Al are much higher in row 1. This row started at 6.4pH while the others were 6.6 and 6.8pH respectively. I suspect that soil conditions deeper down are getting too acidic making these metals soluble.

Here are a few additional photos that I found interesting:
The first is a dead cat. Some leaf tissue was consumed and this little guys' guts started leaking into his circulatory system. Bt toxicity is a lovely way to go.
The second is what appears to be a dead fungus gnat. These plants have been treated with og biowar and also sea shield. It looks like it was killed by plant metabolites or one of the species in the biowar? Milky didn't you post something like this from your indoor plants?

They just happened to get bigger than you planned huh? Darn snake oils..
Edit...doh I am so stoned. Yea my aea plants kill the shit out of fungus gnats and leaf hoppers. I don't see them at all anymore...but they were there in the transition...and my plants murdered the fuck out of them

Next year, I'll be testing the same plant in soils closer to Albrecht ranges to try and figure out the proper K levels. I'll try and use the same products/methods too. It may be that they like K closer to 4 or 5% in the tissue. Most crop "sufficiency ranges" show K higher than Ca with a few having K around 4 or 5%.
I'm a happy camper though, literally. My nitrogen was probably over 200ppm but photomag is helping my plants suck it up and use it properly. I feel like similar results can be achieved with a soil drench of those ingredients though. I think I saw that tidbit on Sait's website, can't remember.
Sea shield is prob my favorite product. Where are the diminishing returns with chitosan is what I was wondering today. I'm going to order some oligosaccharide and play around with it. I couldn't clip my fingernails short enough or use enough soap to get the stink off after using it. I wear gloves now when mixing.
Yeah I don't see any hoppers anymore either. White flies were the last to show population decrease and they are really only on the few plants with canker.

The reason I ask is because my tissue P has gone up and I'm wondering if its from the cal phos I'm putting through the drip or if the plant is just starting to draw more. I'm leaning towards the drip application because the soil temp is going down. About once or twice a week I'm putting about ten cups into 150 gallons per row. EC spikes a week or two ago at 1.1 but there was a bunch of other things I added.

I wonder the same thing about soil drenches. Given how light and open our soil is and how fast roots grow do I really need to foliar. I hate climbing ladders and smelling like that. Hopefully sap tests will answer that question.

is it common for the levels to increase the older the plant is? it seems like your figures keep heading up.

I've usually seen brix decrease. This year has been different in that my soil EC has increased steadily from mid July up to now.

Been harvesting for a few days. Mostly tops but a few full plants. Those few with hemp canker that I thought were going to die have survived and are looking like they will put out about 2.5 lbs. Not sure what the healthy ones are going to be at but I think I'll be happy.
The aea products have this plant looking completely different than it did last year. Namely the size of the buds but also the continued growth late in the season. The flowers keep filling out and most of the pistils are still alive. Without a doubt the most healthy plants in my four years of growing.
Tops are going to be hand trimmed with all of the second shell going through the machine.

Oh sorry, the centurion pro is the machine. What I meant is that we just use it for the smaller flowers. The main plant being pictured is Odyssey (catpiss x afghan).
