Hey Ras...I'll hunt down TH and have him come post...I lost my list. =(

Arawn! Glad you found your way here, buddy! That GK male is surely got the purple stem. When looking at the mother shot of CB, that BS 2.2 lady, you really see what Slackx is talking about when saying that the Carolina Blue pheno really favors the mother and shows a lot of those features. I know the GK is in there, somewhere, in some capacity. Whether it be in cannabinoid profile or yet to be unlocked traits that may surface in later filial generations....F2 for certain.

the_revolution: Carolina Blue = Blue Sat. 2.2 (f) x Grape Krush (m)

Chili_B: wowzers! What a sexy plant! Just frosted to the max! I hope the Bx2 of that beauty does her justice...brings her expression more to the surface!

Special thanks now to Arawn, Chili_Berkster, Phillthy. I really appreciate all the work you folks do for this plant and this community. I can not thank you enough for the opportunity to carry a torch that was held first by such fine gentlemen. It is an honor. Seeing you guys come in and put up pics and share the stories with me has added a real depth to this thread that I could have never achieved on my own. With cannabis, it is all to often you hear the legendary stories and those that had a hand are no where to be found for confirmation. This is such a rare instance to have all these heads in one place, at the same time, for the same common goal. That is what this plant is all about. Togetherness and unification and openness of spirit. A sincere and heart felt thank you, to each of you, for your show of support of me and my effort to continue down the path which you all unknowingly set into motion by your own passion and pursuit.

And if ya can't tell, I've been sneaking a few nugs from the Digital Berry Bx1 jar this morning...hahaha. Has me feeling more connected the world around me and gives me a deep enhanced and vast appreciation for life; like I can literally feel all the good vibes and well wishes that have been bestowed upon me by so many...it's a literal sensation.

THIS is what blue genes are all about....THIS effect. THIS is medicine. Not being numbed down by pain pills and becoming discombobulated...this makes the pain and stress of life become uniquely appreciated for the opportunities of growth and resounding strength it has created in your person...that is more powerful a notion to gain than any escape via intoxicating pills. To learn that life is actually in your control and that you are in fact on a collision course with your future in every single moment of the present...so just enjoy the ride!

It was getting boring in here....

It was getting boring in here....

SEEDS!!!

Fully seeded...frosty as can be! You can see them starting to brown up a bit now...maturing.

picture.php

Lilac hues where the light hits her heavy...and well, more maturing seeds!

picture.php

I made mention earlier in the thread, that the pollination must have paired well as there were many twins, but even more common, many triplet seed pods! :jump:

picture.php

Closer? ...WE WANNA SEE!!!

picture.php

CLOSER!?!....errrr! (but my camera kinda fails a bit here, gets grainy...the F-stop is limited, so low light, which is ideal for these macro shots, unless you have proper reflectors and can set side lighting and eliminate all shadows...but that is studio. I shoot in complete darkness with using a micro step ladder, tripod, flash, 10 sec timer...and crazy props to get my camera extended and counter weighted so I can put it CM from where I want it...fun to play and try; THE TRUTH is I'm sure my camera is capable, it is the user who needs some tuning...hehehe) I'M TRYING Doobie! ;)

Cheers! :tiphat:

Thank you gentleman. Fwiw...there are only 3 pictures. The last two are captions taken from the full resolution image. The point being, to see the limits of the camera. I HONESTLY, don't think I'm going to make it take muuuch better photos than that. It was pretty controlled. I see those and then I look at the works of Doobie, Mr. X, and I hate to even give specific credit because there are a ton of excellent shot all over this site, but they stand out consistently as of recent...and not just for excellent plants, but also for the degree of correctness and in part the art of the lighting and the "photograph" itself, outside of the object captured, ya know.

I think this camera will leave me wanting and desiring MORE than what it can offer. Which means, I don't think it is the one I'm seeking. I'm in the market and sampling a few point -n - shoot type cameras that I can in the future justifiable use as a side-kick to a nice DSLR...without the camera really being a joke...and still affordable. The holidays brought about some astounding prices on last year's models and some new/interesting adaptions of current technologies by various manufactures; really doing nothing but blurring the lines of distinction even more and leaving the consumer with a bunch of irrelevant streamlined products that under perform or go with useless gimmick modes or options while taking away all actually control over the parameters that allow for actual custom photos to be taken digitally. But...all that aside, the rant of a frustrated consumer, there are really very few options. It seems about the only option in the point -n- shoot bang for your buck type camera is the Nikon N7000 or the Canon S95 (now 100 but model = $$)
I THINK...I'll like the N7000 more, I'm typically a fan of their optics, but since digital, Canon's CCD sensors...lol. Really been frustrating for me to find a camera I like entirely...
Fwiw, these photos were shot on a borrowed Nikon S8200. ;)

Sorry for the derail....but sometimes it's fun to talk about how we get to where we do in other things as well...

Wait till I go off on organics here soon enough when these seeds ripen up! hehehe. ;)

Thanks for the kinds words!

Watch out! He'll have you thinking you caught the flu...his pollen is fierce... or I'm a sensitive wuss...

Looking awesome bro! He wastes no time dropping pollen, either. I honestly expect him not to contribute much to the yield side of things...bet he lowers yields on a more commercial plant...but I bet he danks stuff up alllllllll day!

When you see the mom, it almost makes you want to say that Carolina Blue HAS side branching...lol.

You can certainly see the blend of the two with them side by side like that...very cool! Thanks for sharing that pic. It's the first time I've seen that one, I believe.

This is a sister to the Digital Berry Bx1 sawtooth male we are using. She is just labeled as the "UF" pheno, which for a long time simply stood for "unflowered" as she sat around for a bit before she actually found her place in the rotations...

Digital Berry Bx1 "uf" pheno @ 7wks

She is a VERY close representation of the mother Digital Berry...the Bx2 of the Digi clone should be very exciting. I have said many times, I think my male is a better pick in regards to having the mothers traits even than the sister you see pictured here; should bring very promising results as well!

You know...I said he looks "pure kush" and that is really a VERY incorrect statement.

He has broad fat leaves...is really more correct. And when I look at him, the fan blades, you see the very narrow taper to the petiole and how the middle of the leaf really balloons out in a very even round manner...this is certainly traits coming trough from the modern blueberry side...aka Grape Krush. I also see the Digital Berry Male peaking through in several aspects of the leaf structure in the serration pattern and the way the tips of the fan blades have that little turn in them. The DB Bx1 male has ALWAYS done this even when nearing depletion, so I have dismissed it as a feeding effect in both plants.

To me the plant shows Bubba / Sour Bubble / Grape Krush in the mix and THUS is why he is so stout and broad leafed. There is a number of the best indica lines around paired up with this fellow and certainly the possible gene pairings are endless...but I really like the looks of this fellow here. Not to mention, on a stem rub he is very berry like the Digital Berry but more tart/sour and even has an earthy / coffee smell that lingers and blends in. I don't smell much of the BKGK grape muskiness, but there is this light /soft floral present in him that is NOT present in the Digital Berry line so I am assuming this is coming also from the Grape Krush side of the heritage.

Another thing I notice about him, is he holds the deeper dark green leaf color that I very commonly see on plants that will give some lovely fall colors...as opposed to the plants that show a brighter more lively green, that tend to stay that green then just yellow or brown off...

Anyway, I like this dude...going to put him to work as well. He has the structure of the Digital Berry male...no mistaking it. I am REALLLLLLY hoping this is the case with the Carolina Blue cross as well

I really think we've done a good finding the DB Bx1. Going to be some seriously FROSTED stinky plants that result from his fluffies. I just know it.
