Carolina Blue x Digital Berry Bx1

Here's my latest girl. This is pheno #1 (Day 48 flower)

Sorry for the odd shape. I have a small space and she got too big.

Very nice aromas coming off her. This one has a sweet pure berry smell. Straight up blueberry. I haven't checked her out under the scope yet so I'm not sure how much longer she has, but I haven't started to flush yet so she has a couple weeks at least.

There's 3 more on deck, from my last 3 beans. I snagged pics of 2 of them.

They've received some defoliation. I have very limited space in the veg area and it's a little crowded so for me it is a necessity. Hopefully they'll be going into the big boy/girl room as the current one gets harvested. I'm wishing for a male to make F2's with.

#3 is some real nice smoke. It has a sweet berry taste with a little sour. The high is very clean, clear, and long lasting. My focus tends to rise and go to the space just behind my eyes. Body feels light and awake. Lots of energy but no raciness or paranoia. When I come down it is smooth and I don't feel burnt out.

I got her to reveg so round 2 is gonna be underway. Round 2 is always better than round 1 for me. Seems like more distinctions and subtleties come out.

#2 is still curing in the jar. It's got some interesting smells that developed in late flower, ranging from musky, sweaty feet, rotten/fermented berries, red wine.

Right on Scrappy....how uncommon for a 48 day plant, right! ;)

I wanna know when you find one that make you want to go spin circles in a field of flowers! That is my favorite expression...

CBxDB Bx1 is seriously good stuff

CBxDB Bx1 is seriously good stuff

Hey dank.frank, finally got an opportunity to check back in. I apologize for my extended absence, I know you were looking forward to seeing more on the progress of the CBxDB plants. In the end I ended up with one extremely nice female that I cloned and ran for a couple of additional cycles as well as an exceptional male whose progeny I haven't yet had a chance to grow out.

Unfortunately, I had an unavoidable change in my living situation, where some in-laws who needed some help were staying with us for a few months, and although we are legal and fully compliant we still felt for a number of reasons that it was best to just go into super stealth mode just long enough to flower everything out and shut down the garden.

The level of secrecy needed to keep people living under the same roof from knowing about it meant that I was not able to visit icmag or take any pics, couldn't even risk being seen viewing the forums, sorry about that. I am happy to say that we pulled it off, though. I hope I never have to go through that again, haha :D

Another unavoidable consequence of the situation meant that I had to relocate the garden to a room that didn't have adequate ventilation and that I couldn't spend hours in every day as I was used to, so I did encounter a few problems with heat and humidity. I am pleased to report that the cbXdb did better than expected in these conditions, and although I did encounter some late-flower nanners from around day 65 on, nothing ever got seeded. It probably suffered a bit in the density department too, but I still managed to get several jars of top-notch meds to keep me going through the downtime.

And despite the environmental problems which surely kept me from seeing the best expression of the genetics, I gotta tell ya man... This stuff is some serious fire! It's got a very sweet smell, a rich berry taste that just coats the mouth, and the high is absolutely tremendous. It hits very fast, and definitely has the qualities I prize most. It's very happy and relaxed (great for anxiety) and helps me to be able to get stuff done. It's quite strong, but not racy and doesn't make me feel edgy or overwhelmed.

It's frosty as hell, and makes some pretty great bubble hash. It also makes some lovely thick amber QWISO, but that stuff seems to be a little too strong for me and has to be saved for special situations because it tends to make me just sit in my chair and grin absently, oblivious to the world as I float around inside my head exploring all of mental space. Definitely good for when life's got you under pressure and you need a strong spiritual intervention and therapeutic head change, but concentrates are not my preference for every day smoking.

I've got some crosses made with that male you commented on, but it will likely be several months before I get the opportunity to get back into things, and I'm probably going to make finding another great CBxDB female from my remaining original seeds a higher priority than the crosses. All told I only popped about five seeds, so I know there are some more amazing gems for me to find in the rest of the pack, and I can't wait until I have the opportunity!

I feel quite blessed to have had the opportunity to try these out, and I thank you for the time and dedication you put into the project and for your generosity in sharing these amazing genetics.

:thank you:

.

Excellent report Mugen - super glad you found a nice experience in the beans you've sorted thus far. Your description of the high sounds most excellent and that is EXACTLY what these meds are supposed to be.

Your description of the ISO is on point - I loved that aspect of the genes - as it truly does help you figure life out and helps heal the spirit...clears out the mental clutter and brings about that change of focus. This the the 3rd-eye aspect to the high I have spoken of on numerous occasions.

Thanks for the update, bro - and most importantly I'm glad the meds were to your liking!!

Its been a minute hasn't it..3-4 years I think..
Still can't get over it that I had something to do with it..but your the one who found her.
I was more then happy to donate freebies, but I kick myself for "donating" about 200 of the original seeds to so called good cause.only to never hear from again.
Who knows what they are now.if anything..
Oh well..live and learn..eat boo-berry cereal..
