Caregivers, what are you offering patients?

Oh yeah, and also, you can no longer have 10 patients, OR wholesale that lb a month overflow to any dispensaries. So wtf are you talking about anyway?

And I don't see how caregivers can be so naive and self deprecating. Do you get your equipment, genetics, nutrients and electricity for free? Do you have a trust fund to pay your rent/food/gas/etc so that you don't have to make money to survive?

I have 5k in medical bills I have to pay currently for an accident that resulted in an ambulance ride to the ER that was not my fault. I don't have health insurance or uninsured beaner coverage. I can't believe those bastards at the hospital didn't give everything to me for free, wtf? Why should those doctors be paid for all the time they went to medical school? Why should that hospital get to charge me for using their million dollar MRI machines? I should get those services for free dammit!

Schools in session.

Not even .01% of these native growers even know WTF they are doing. Even the bullshit i pass to the dispensary is better than anything the natives are bringing in. Thats why they love us.
lmao... I don't usually argue with people on the Internet, but you're fucking out of your mind. :tiphat:

I wouldn't say that its a small amount of people that grow good herb, I think the demand is ultra-high, and that there isn't enough fire local herb to go around, so 80% of what you see on those shelves is still cali garbage, and the real good local stuff gets puffed by the real locals, rarely to be seen on a store shelf!

this is true most of the fire will never make it to the Dispensary shelf. For most of us that was the whole point in growing. its about money no doubt... All the money we save by being self sufficient.

what i offer:
I am a live in caregiver in which i cook breakfast/dinner, clean house in/out, tend to dogs-feeding/walking, do laundry, drive to/from Dr when needed, tend to cars, grow and supply top notch fully flushed and mature meds free of charge! + i own my own business in which i work pt 7days a week year round.. give or take a day or two each month. :joint:

but with these new regs, this is all about to change..or maybe not!

Dispensaries don't want fire. Few around here have the skills to grow it themselves and if they do it ends up in their head stash or on the shelf for $60+ 1/8th. And, they don't even want to look at vendor meds if you aren't at $200-225/oz or less. Nobody is letting the fire go for those prices when it is easy to get $250++. And if a dispensary does happen to get lucky and find some, it ends up in the dispensary owner's/employee's head stash 99.99% of the time.

I pay for my patients to get their card, then i get them fire for good prices. I only have a few patients, and they are my homies. I sell quarters for $80, $250 ounces. No free ounces or anything crazy. Im known to smoke fools out though, ecspecially if we are riding pow! There is nothing set in stone, and i dont think of them as patients, just homies. And homies look out for each other.

Ed Zachary!

I've walked into places, and it seems like most could careless about how it tastes, smells, smokes, looks, or what strain it is. They will call it something else anyway if they feel like it...what they care about is the bottom line, and if your asking more, than they don't even care what strain it is or how good it is or how much effort you put into it. Its pathetic really!

I gotta give props to the guys at HGA in Boulder, they take top shelf meds at fair prices and they are usually a pleasure to deal with.

Its funny though, I've gone into places and blown them away, and they willingly pay for it at my price...but, I'll have some friends go in there and keep tabs on the menu, and that shit never hits the public. Like you said, the manager and his homies are taking an ounce home each, at least, and your shit vanishes!

This seems a little opportunistic on both sides... depending on how they are presenting the current legal situation...?

Spoken to a few lawyers & even retained... basic gist is that he has an interpretation of how things will pan out, along with a number of varying views/interpretations by others.

Even the lawyers aren't 'for sure'... it isn't going to pan out until all the challenges are struck & a final draft gets thru... then the DOR regs... then more challenges... then someone gets arrested for going under one interpretation vs another... then it will get ruled upon... then new/adjusted regs... then so on goes to the next case/interpretation.

Granted the dispensary model is a bit more complicated, but patients & cg's should ultimately not panic & keep on keepin on... the Constitution is on our side here.

Dunno, seems like a lot of unnecessary panic forcing peeps into some costly decisions... on both sides.

Why do so many people consider disagreements/debate to be arguing and attach a negative connotation to it? I've never understood this about people. It goes against the democratic model established by the Greeks that all great societies follow. I've personally been convinced many times that my current view on a particular issue needed some adjustment after a debate and further research. How else would we learn if somebody didn't tell/show us new ideas? Not saying I'm right or you're wrong (this post) just saying...

According to my attorney, before 1284, Amendment 20 only granted you an "affirmative defense". HB1284 extends that affirmative defense to higher plant counts also. Amendment 20 has always just been a "get out of jail free" card, its still up to the police in your locality and they usually go on a case-by-case basis, unless you are in North Metro, then you are just fucked!

In my interpretation 1284 actually weakens the affirmative defense, because it states that in order to use an affirmative defense:
THE PATIENT'S PHYSICIAN SHALL CERTIFY THE SPECIFIC AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF TWO OUNCES THAT ARE
NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE PATIENT'S DEBILITATING MEDICAL CONDITION AND WHY SUCH AMOUNTS ARE NECESSARY.

So one would not be able to use an affirmative defense without a docs recommendation. Notice also it mentions nothing about plant count.

Here is the complete paragraph:

(10) Affirmative defense. IF A PATIENT OR PRIMARY CAREGIVER RAISES AN AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSE AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 14 (4) (b) OF
ARTICLE XVIII OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE PATIENT'S PHYSICIAN SHALL CERTIFY THE SPECIFIC AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF TWO OUNCES THAT ARE
NECESSARY TO ADDRESS THE PATIENT'S DEBILITATING MEDICAL CONDITION AND WHY SUCH AMOUNTS ARE NECESSARY. A PATIENT WHO ASSERTS THIS AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSE SHALL WAIVE CONFIDENTIALITY PRIVILEGES RELATED TO THE CONDITION OR CONDITIONS THAT WERE THE BASIS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION. IF A PATIENT, PRIMARY CAREGIVER, OR PHYSICIAN RAISES AN EXCEPTION TO THE STATE CRIMINAL LAWS AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 14 (2) (b) OR (c) OF ARTICLE XVIII OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE PATIENT, PRIMARY CAREGIVER OR PHYSICIAN WAIVES THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF HIS OR HER RECORDS RELATED TO THE CONDITION OR
CONDITIONS THAT WERE THE BASIS FOR THE RECOMMENDATION MAINTAINED BY THE STATE HEALTH AGENCY FOR THE MEDICAL MARIJUANA PROGRAM.
UPON REQUEST OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR SUCH RECORDS, THE STATE HEALTH AGENCY SHALL ONLY PROVIDE RECORDS PERTAINING TO THE INDIVIDUAL RAISING THE EXCEPTION, AND SHALL REDACT ALL OTHER
PATIENT, PRIMARY CAREGIVER, OR PHYSICIAN IDENTIFYING INFORMATION.

Let the lawsuits drop and a year from now, it will be a different place.

You have 12 attorneys with 13 different interpretations of 1284, its very ambiguous, so none of us really have any idea. I would say its best to listen to your legal counsel.

There are some Pros here for sure, they are just not putting out enough for everyone! I'm not from here originally, but my cuz is CO born and raised, and he can grow some fire, too!

That sucked for Chuck. He really hasn't been the same since his second fight with Quinton Jackson. A lot of the good guys from the last ten years have fallen off. I thought for sure Mirko was doomed when he got knocked down twice in the first.

We are on to the new generation of fighters, which means a lot of Lay N Pray wrestling to grind out decisions.
