EC 1.3--Every time...
I fill each pool with 4 buckets
Hey ad sorry to hear about your troubles. Another option you can choose that works well and fast for foliar feed is dissolve some of that jacks in a spray bottle and mist your plants so this way they get every nutrient they need.
I have used this method many times for cal/mg def. and lockouts. Something to try out out maybe next time just mix it light. I usually use hydro research powder formula veg and bloom granular. But I mix it at half a teaspoon per liter of water and it will usually straighten out any cal/mg issues.
Isn't 1.5 tablespoons a little much with epson salt for a liter? Is that the proper ratio? I use to use 1 teaspoon per liter. Maybe I am wrong about the ratio and maybe that's why I haven't ever had fast results with epson salts.
Hope you get it under control AD as everything you were growing was looking so great!!
Peace mike
Almost looking like your ph is to acidic ad. I think the ram horn that the plants are showing is either to much nutrients or N overdose but could be also from to much water. I am not 100% but I would narrow it down to one of these issues.
You know my feelings on ph down so it wouldn't surprise me if you medium is way to acidic that stuff is brutal and I feel ph down causes more issues than it is worth.
If I ever need to use ph down I'll use my humboldt humic acid as a down and silica blast as a ph up from now on.
I hope you get it under control Ad sometimes promix is the best way to resort back to. Don't have to deal with all these fluctuations and ph this and oh that just water feed and leave them alone. Lol
Peace mike
in mind and thanks for the tip,bro...N overdose but could be also from to much water
Yep... TFAS is my flavor of the day...
Tried to wash it as well...But... Tried being the key word....
I washed it in the buckets with a hose for 10-15 minutes each but had lots of dust on the bottom of the lower pool...
Its clean now...
is mag/N a Jack's product?... I'm sure it's in the thread, but you post soo much that it's hard to go back and find some things.... this is a he ll of a thread!
you have a very organic way of doing things, constantly evolving...

D9 recommends(somewhere) soaking new turface for a few hours with 400ppm? then draining/dispose of this water before filling up your buckets/pool. If you read "Optimizing the physical and nutritional environment of unleached root-zones” it goes into detail about how some bags of turface have different nutrient balances and exactly how the rinse/mostly soaking affects this balance. They discuss the results of a 5day soak with nutrients where the water is changed daily. Just wanted to throw this out there as a cause of your symptoms? But all the flooding/res changes shouldve gotten rid of any buildups. Interesting paper either way. Good luck
Then finishes with,
I knew he had pools... hahaha... KP contest...at the time this pic was made i had been using it for seven years and had accumulated enough to fill two 8' in diameter by 16" deep kiddie pools.
Shit... Im supposed to stop smoking when mixing... Never would have thought of that... hummm...
The pool water looks like a 7 to me AD but I am looking at it from a computer screen. Lol so every monitor is different with color settings. Lol
Now Is turface pretty much hydro? Because if it is would of ph of 7 be pretty bad for the plants? Thought hydro runs mid 5's?
That shit just seems like to much work for a stoner like me!
Promix/coco blend is in my future or maybe just coco if my expirementing plays out right with it.
