I also used this method to make my budder. I used a little over 3oz of trim and popcorn buds and made 2 lbs of budder. Ended up making 14 cookies and a batch of brownies.

The cookies tasted too much like cookies like he said...So, went a little overboard eating them. lol. But the brownies were kick ass.
One brownie and about 90 minutes later and you're a vegtable for the night.

The cookies and brownies were an absolute HIT. I gave most of them to a friend in need. It's pretty funny. This is my very first time EVER eating these types of treats. I ate two little 1"X1" brownies. One hour later I was sitting on my riding mower. I caught myself trying to slouch back in my seat like I was cruising or something It was awesome! It didn't bother me to be cutting grass at .03 miles per hour. Good times man.

I'm going to go make some chocolate chip cookies from scratch now! I'll post some pics just for the heck of it lol.

Negative ghost rider, the pattern is full. The choco chip cookies went flat from using too much butter. Oopsie. I ate 4 just now, they weren't that bad. However, when I melted the butter it got hot enough to melt the choco chips as I was mixing. The batter turned a nice doo doo brown. Kinda looks like a cow patty with walnuts. Don't taste bad but they look like....well......shit.

EDIT: Well, those doo doo drop cookies were strong. I ate 4 of them before I went to bed. One hour later my girlfriend was like "what is wrong with you?" I was laughing and being silly. I was so completely high in my sleep I had the craziest dreams. I also slept like a rock and didn't wake up until after 11:00 am. I'm usually up at 7 am. lol I still feel dazed. Just goes to show that you can't tell a cookie by it's dookie......appearance.

Are you familiar with washing the butter? It really cleans it up nicely. Just dump out your gross water and put the butter into a pot with clean water, heat it up to melt it all and then dump it back into your containers to cool and separate. The waste water is nearly clear after 3 washes in the batch I'm making right now.

Just took a couple quick pictures. That's the 3rd wash right there.

I'm a big fan of washing. It's so simple. I'm going to try using an ounce of water cured bud next time. I'm assuming that will give me a really clean butter right from the start.

thank you for the advice! I think, I make brownies out of the butter. After pulling the butter out of the tupperware, I put the water/butter a second time in the fridge. There are a few gramms more to keep. (Sorry for my english )

At what temperature is it best to bake with cannabutter? Obviously it has to evaporate at a certain temperature and we want to avoid that so we dont waste all that butter we worked so hard making. I've heard everything from 220 degrees to 360 degrees. Can someone answer this confidently? Maybe theres some real research on the topic now that someone can direct me to?

I don't bake at temps above 325F. I assume that the item being baked does not reach an internal temp as high as my oven setting, as it is not in the oven very long.

The aromatic terpenoids begin to vaporize at 126 °C, but the more bio-active cannabidiol (CBD), cannabinol (CBN), and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) do not vaporize until near their respective flash points: CBD 206.3 °C (404.3F), CBN 212.7 °C (414.9F), THC 149.3 °C (300.7F)
