Merry Christmas everyone!
Well,I made some brownies last not using this butter recipe.I had a 1.5 oz of SSH BUD that was getting old so it went into the 4 sticks of butter.
I put the brownies in the fridge until this morning.
Then today my mom tells me"I went to walk the dog and had a little bite of one of your brownies.On my way up the driveway I got light headed and dropped right on my face."
Now,don't worry she's fine.She's got a little scratch on her face but she's laughing about it.She said"I did get a great sleep."

I made some butter and I didn't get high at all... I guess I simmered it too long? I used a crock pot.... I followed a "Youtube" recipe.... I didn't find you guys until after...... I used just butter... two pounds and two ounces of trim, what did I do wrong? I forgot the water?

When I make butter I use like 3-4oz of trim per pound of butter and I get rave reviews on my cookies... Sounds like its just diluted too much.

i just made 3 dozen canna cookies. they come out well. this cookie mix uses a full stick of butter. Happy new years!!

Attempt #2 at butter, this time I'm gonna make sure it's potent. I'm using a double boiler, and using 96g of trim/fan leaf and 35g of vaped leftovers into 3.5 sticks of butter. Due to the mass of the planet matter I have to add some water in order to mix it better. Going to keep in double boiler for an hour and half and then strain and leave over night.

You guys have any thoughts, with this ratio can I expect good cookies that use 1 stick. If I figure my math correctly, I should end up with about 3 sticks due to some lost in the process. Thats a little over 40g trim/vaped bud per stick, make roughly atwo dozen cookies, thats 1.6g a cookie sound right?

I would simmer with double boiler over night or 12 hours on LOW heat.

If you dislike the taste of the butter, make fudge brownies (i.e. very chocolaty). It really helps to mask the taste. I find that when I make cookies, I can taste the butter much more strongly.

Does everyone use the 3-4 hour cooking time mentioned? I usually cook for about a half hour and I can tell you that my brownies will knock you on your ass. Can't imagine that I'm losing much THC, but will try a longer cooking time next time.

hey people

just arrived from the kitchen. I was making some serious baking ingridient
I think its going to work, it wasnt my first run, i have made some spacecakes before .
Once i had a 20 hour trip with my friend, that was my first cake.... We got stoned, then drunk (it was my birthday ), then we got stoned again, as the cake finished. I was sure that the cake gone wrong, so i ate 3 pcs (near 1AM), next day, around 8 PM i seemd to be o.k.

i was baked since then about 4-5 cakes, but not like this. I usually simmered the stuff without the water, that means, it took about 5 seconds to get the things all right. Then i squeeezed the butter out of the trimmings, and took a second turn with the same butter, but another load of trimmings. That makes the butter more potent i think.

the problem was that i didnt figured out that the best way to squeez the butter out of the leafs is the potato press. For that reason i just didnt squeez the butter at all, but after a few weeks in the fridge, and its got moldy all over the jar.
Since that i use the potato press. After you pressed the leafs/trimms you can filter the butter with the cheeseclothes.

im courious about the weight of the butter, it was about 1 liter of liquid, but there is a lot of water in it i think.

i boiled 250g of leafes in 1 kg of butter, that means 2.2 lb of butter, and almoust 9 oz of leafes.

Actually i know that from this *magic* a cookie will get extra-extra high-grade stuff but i was wondering, that maybe its to much leaf to this amount of butter. Maybe the butter gets saturated, and a load of THC remains in the water, or i dont know...

What do you think?

Its super easy, everything is in the box, exept the butter, and a cup of water. Just perfect. About 40 minits and its baked, you CANT screw it up.

and about the cooking time... its hell of a lot. i was simmering this time about 2-2,5 hours but i couldnt stay more in the kitchen... well, we will see.

i usually heat the dried leafes in the stove, before i use them. The method is called Decarboxylation

it can, depending on the type of nute's that are still in the bud. As well as butter chosen. or that strain just smells like that when cooked! you might have found a good strain for people who dont like the ganja smell and taste but wanna try eating it!

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out how much butter I should use.

I have about

3 zips of trim
10 grams of popcorn bud
12 grams of sfv ogk
44 grams of vaporized bud

I was thinking that I would use 2 pounds of butter. Does this sound right?


Edit : So I made the butter last night and used 1 and 1/2 pounds of butter. This morning I used 1/8th of a teaspoon on some toast. and I got very lit.
