I have Been growing Thai lines for a very long time and there is a lot more than 4 variety's.

The 4 you claim were developed by the university.

You can smoke in public but what you can get fined for is if some one complains about the smell that is a law and its not related to cannabis.

Placing the Thia Cannabis genetics under Unesco listing gives them legal protection by an international convention.

"LEGAL BUT SMOKING IS DISCOURAGE" so are we supposed to just look at it or contemplating it?..........
"LEGAL TO GROW" but after paying a big license fee...

The Flower the steam the seed the plant is now completely legal in Thailand the plant has officially been removed from the Thailand's narcotics list.

Extracts cant be more than 0.02 % THC flowers dont have that restrictions.

The law about offensive smell was there before cannabis legalization.

People local or tourists can walk off the street and purchase flower in dispensaries.

A house hold can grow 6 plants and have up to 6 kg is what i hear,
Sounds and looks legal to me.

Regulations

Consumption

There is no restriction on the consumption of cannabis plant parts. However, cannabis extracts with THC higher than 0.2% and cannabis seed extracts are still considered to be narcotic. Consumption of these extracts is only reserved for medical use under prescription.[3][4] Cannabis smoking is legal for personal use in private area but not encouraged by the government and is prohibited in public areas by the Public Health Act 2535 BE (1992) with the fine up to 25,000 Baht (~700 USD) or the imprisonment up to 3 months.[15]

Cultivation

There is currently no restrictions on how many plants each individual can cultivate. The specific law regulating cannabis is still pending in Thai parliament as of June 2022. However, the government urges people to register their cannabis plantation on the website or the application "Plookganja" (meaning "Let's grow cannabis") in case that the future cannabis law may require the license.[16]

Supply

Thai law essentially excludes all foreign companies as well as foreign majority companies incorporated in Thailand from producing, selling, importing, exporting, and processing cannabis. The move has been viewed as an effort to protect local companies from the onslaught of highly resourceful and modern technology equipped foreign actors.[17]

Distribution

On 11 May, Thailand's first two full-time clinics dispensing cannabis oil for medical treatment were inaugurated. The move is in line with the government's intentions to promote licensed use of medical marijuana to address various health conditions. These two clinics are an addition to 25 part-time clinics that are operating since the legalization of the drug under the new legislation.[18] If this experience produces promising results, the government is all set to open two more clinics as a part of a planned nationwide network of marijuana clinics. [19] The people who were using illegal expensive medical marijuana from underground suppliers are most likely to benefit from it. In addition, the FDA has approved all hospitals of the Public Health Ministry to prescribe medical cannabis to people with approved medical conditions

@flower~power my friend , just stay on topic and talk about Cambodian weed ;)
Don't feed the anger, and rather tell me about those Cambo :D
Yeah I get that now & didn’t really understand his point of “after the fact” of his warning & not “before the fact” … Anyway the reason I’m upset with the Cambodian cross is because I spent at least a year growing them out selecting them outdoors taking clones and then bringing them back indoors only to be really let down with the potency…I wasted a lot of time and more importantly a lot of precious grow space (which cost me a lot of money)

WoW like the look of that Cambodian plant flower power.

If anyone has the power to replicate the heat of the sun you have got to be close

Its plant maturity again perhaps....

It would take keeping it a few rounds to get to the bottom of that mystery

And it does look like a total nightmare for what you are doing there...

I'm suprised it didnt crawl up the stairs and sit down and the breakfast table!:smokeit:
