really look forward to your pictures  Had a Siamese cat in the family growing up …lotta personality

Couple more days then it’s gonna get back into a more “average” range. Hard to believe it’s just the beginning of winter though.
What I like about Jan 1st, only 8 weeks of the worst of winter to come. The last 8wks can be the worst of winter though.

Cookie looks like she's having a blast with the toy! I'm sure she wants to hike no matter the temps. Dogs be crazy like that!

Beautiful 1 degree this Morning! The dog is getting his horse blanket coat put on before going outside last few days. He loves the snow. We put socks on his legs along with his coat when it's single digits. For an OLD man he sure plays in the snow. Can't get him inside unless I go out and convince him with cheese.

So the hits keep coming. Got a room at my buddies place and started a tray of 50 fem seed. All varieties for a pheno hunt. Mouse chewed through his wall, through the tent, through the dome and ate every single seed. Didn't even check out the 3 traps baited with peanut butter and cheese in the room or outer room from where he chewed. Fucking Kool-Aid Man of all Meeces?? This Jasper was determined.

Luckily none of the seed were super important and were getting older. Some I'm bummed about since I can't replace. Oh well I have plenty of seed and installed a cat so we should be good going forward.

Hope y'all had a good weekend!

The older we get the higher our indoor temp gets. Typical winter day would be 23C/73.5F
I know you're right, I've lived long enough to know how it all works. That is kind of why I have a few more years in Michigan and then I am heading out.

I spent a winter in Florida, but can't do that either. Florida is weird. We were playing a round of golf and there was a gator just taking it easy on the far corner of the green. We played through and it took me about four shots to sink my putt. I couldn't take my eyes of that dinosaur. I just remembering thinking how strange this place is.

A much more mild climate than Michigan is in my future though.

Damn Drumz! You keep your house at 75 degrees...Money money money!!! Mines at 68 and I still don't like that gas bill.
Well that’s what the weather station reads which is up pretty high…at seat level it’s about 72…wife has psoriatic arthritis…we’re in our 70’s so I’m gonna cater to her a bit…besides that if I argue with her she reminds me that she pays the f***in fuel bill 😂

My younger years were spent in Southern Ontario right next to Michigan. My Mrs is from Michigan, she was born in Lansing. Then moved to Texas. You certainly have way more choices for a moderate climate in the US than Canada. Here it's just cold all over, some colder than others. We are still having above freezing temps so far.
Yeah, if you don't like gators another state besides Florida might be in order. A Florida member was saying they don't care for the mosquitos either.
