...and i cant believe his ass would agree to being part of a "soap-umentary" about harborside called WEED WARS. If steve would like to know who is snubing their nose to bring heat to CA, he need only look in the mirror

I agree that people could do things differently but it isn't helpful to blame people in the industry for actions of the federal government.

The bad actors people complain about in the industry use poor judgement in advertising, signage, and marketing image. Even so the feds choose to use storm trooper tactics and jackboot businesses on their own.

The feds have stomped any state with D's and intimidated many not to have them. No blame for anyone but the feds.

I would like to point out that this (dispensary crackdown) is the reason CA should had gotten it legalized for recreational uses too. The US gov't actually claims there is no medicinal quality to Mary Jane.
I know it's a crock of shit but those cowards will hide behind any excuse to keep their foot on the throat of our liberties!
Any chance you get to take some liberty back, take it! VOTE RON PAUL!
Those in CA that voted so they could keep their kushy :D jobs growing will get a taste of what us non med states have to deal with now. I didn't want this but that is where short term thinking on politics gets you.

VOTE RON PAUL. At least research him and watch some youtube clips. He is the first candidate in decades giving liberties back to US Citizens.

UPDATED: 5:35 pm PDT October 18, 2011

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency spokesperson admitted Tuesday that federal agents conducted an “enforcement action” yesterday against a pot dispensary in Sacramento.
The business raided was Medizen at 2201 Northgate Boulevard.
DEA spokesperson Casey McEnry said the search warrant used in the raid remains sealed and she could not comment on what was seized.
Ryan Landers, spokesman for Cannabis Compassionate Use in Sacramento said the most recent raid is scaring medical marijuana patients. He said they those who do not grow marijuana at home are afraid they won’t be able to purchase their medicine if all of Sacramento’s dispensaries are closed.
The U.S. Attorneys office, which announced a major crackdown on pot drug trafficking on Oct.7, had no comments on yesterday’s action.

I agree with your post bro. I would just add that we in Cali know damn well what the non-med states are dealing with because we dealt with it for decades. (Well, at least I did) Grew when it was a felony here and so did MANY others until WE pushed for a medical law. MMJ didnt happen in a vacuum, it was an effort. Lets not forget the victory we had. It went that way because at the time even tho there werent enough people to get it legalized fully there were enough compassionate people here to vote for MMJ. So not only do we know what it was like before, we DID something about it. Is it perfect. NO. However, just because the feds are ignoring the law doesnt mean its a bad law. It now appears the only way to stop the feds is to legalize! Ill be voting for Ron Paul in the primary.

I just got this email. This will be good in the end. Everything that has happened in the past couple of months will serve as fuel to the fire. I honestly think this is how Obama pushes for legalization without having his name attached to it. Send out IRS bills, seize accounts, and try to shut everyone down. All that will do is motivate the "average Joe" to get a full legalization initiative passed. They are not doing this in Colorado. (because of clear rules)I really do believe this is a slight of hand trick to push things along faster. It makes sense.

That's zzzzzzzzooooooooooo blaaaaaazzzzed

Your on too much pots

If you really think this is Obama's way of legalizing pot or whatever the fuck, you must be on something.

Anyone remember Luke Scarmazzo, the owner of a Modesto dispensary. He produced this little number shortly before his arrest and 30 year Federal sentence.

I think that guy's story was on 60 Minutes. His hair was cut and he wore a suit but the jury saw the same video, lol. 30 years, wow. I wonder if he's running that mouth in the joint.

The 60 Minutes show you saw was about another rocket scientist Marc Emery.

A mans greatest weakness is his ego.

The reason I mentioned these jerks,Scarmazzo and Emery, this is who leo's and the press think about when mmj gets mentioned.
