Cali-0, B52, MMM first grow

thought I would show the open frame design.

I don't seem experience any of the air problems I read about. Assuming most of those are associated with enclosed setups.
I'll add a few fans once the buds fatten up.

VT4000 keeps smells in check. Although I don't think the plants smell much yet.

I have some heavily over vegged MMM's that are getting LST'd and swapped to 12/12 this time round. Should be fun.

Gets the job done. so far. clearly the plants are a bit large for just a 400. but they are packing on very well. I have 3 different orange phenos, one lanky sativa, one top heavy cola, and my favorite one with many purple colors starting to show. I could see the lanky one taking 70+ days.

first we have the MMM. 54" tall. one of the three branches is a few inches shorter.

then the sativa dom cali-O at 58" her buds are still pretty small compared to the purple pheno. Both branches are pretty much the same height, but she has gotten quite wide, but narrow, and tall...

I think this plant will suprise me in the end...the shortest at shortest at 44", with the top 12" all bud, and nothing to be disapointed about around the sides.

lastly, my favorite, the purple pheno C-O. she is now 51" tall, I snapped her 11" down so I could get better light coverage. I'm sure she will be back on here feet in no time.

cut at 53 days. she was smelling more of mango than orange, good thing I have a clone. Also much more sativa dom than the other two oranges, I bet she could have gone another month.

I'm letting the other 3 finish up, and this will be their 3rd watering with no nutes. shooting for a finish in the next 2 weeks.

I'm getting a 400W HPS shortly, how much did those girls stretch?

MMM stretched around 33 inches, two around 40 inches. One didnt stretch more than 10".

All of these plants where vegged a few weeks over a month, under 400hps from sprout.

Wow, I guess all that headroom you got there came in real handy! You can really tell the different pheno's when looking at stretch, that one that did not stretch 10" must have been an indica variety (you may have already said this though).

Done any quick dry smoke tests?

Of the 3, 2 where mostly indica, and one mostly sativa.

some nice color on one of the O's. Even though there has been 3 different pheno's in 5 beans, I have been happy with each of them.

Done any quick dry smoke tests?

I never have good results with quick drying, so didn't do any with the early cut girl. A bit more than a week from cutting, they made their way into jars. There is a pleasant, but not overpowering (again cut at 52 days) mango smell. I was suprised that one even got high from it, but it's not bad for a 15-20 minute go.

a big THANK YOU to everyone who keept up with this thread. Although everything did not go 100%, I could not have learned more any other way. Thank you to everyone who has given me advise, everything helps.

I would also recommend this way to anyone who does not mind getting a bit dirty (per/ver mix can go everywhere if not careful) I did the whole grow with tap water, no PH up/down, dilute nutrients, then feed.
