hello all
Was wondering your thoughts on stretch? This is day 4 under a 400hps thats been on 24/7. I can get the light pretty much touching without raising temps above 80. however I have been keeping the light about 2-3.5 feet above the cups depending on temps outside the flower room.
I'm assuming the light would be too intense for them real close right now?? Are they going to stretch much before they start getting stronger if I keep the lights higher? I can swith to compact flo..but I want to veg them 18/6 under the 400, so if I can keep 'em here I would rather do that.
Still waiting for 2 of the MMM seeds to sprout. I should have waited for them to have tails.

lookin good so far....wheres your light at cause the seedlings are stretching a bit....from my experiences seedlings stretch extra because the light is too far away or there isnt enough wattage, youve got the wattage

Sneaky: Yes most have stretched, the single MMM that sprouted has not stretched much at all. 
The reason for the other 3 not sprouting is user error, I placed them in the cups a bit too early.
Anyway, the light was 2.5-4 feet away depending on temps. I finished cutting and foil-taping the 2 liter bottles, once I mix the per/ver (my 6 cubic feet came in yesterday, along with fan speed control, vaportek 4000, and timer) I'll transplant the remaining 9, I transplanted one a few days ago to make sure everything would go smoothely before I purchased, cut and taped 13 two-liters.
Once transplanted, I'll lower the light to 6-8 inches away from them. Keeping temps around 72-78 with the speed controler.
more updates later on today after transplanting.

Hello all. Well it's been a quick week. Went 10/13 still giving them a chance though. I again, I shoud have waited a bit longer to pop the MMM's into the medium.
Once ups showed up, I transfered the 8oz cups to 2 liter bottles. I think I'll be leaving them in this until I can take clones. On all but 3 of the little guys the tap root had started to coil around the bottom of the 8oz cups. Should only be a day or two before they go the extra 3-4 inches down the 2 liters provide them.
The light is now about 5-7 inches from them, with temps around 77. 700-1000ppm of floranova grow is what's being used for nutrients. I'm still topping off the water every day, once growth picks up, I'll be watering every couple days.
edit: 4 in back are B52, as well as right middle. Left middle and front 3 are Cali-O with MMM taking the middle.

trying to keep this as simple as I can.
18/6 since day #7. have not noticed any more stretching. Light is 6-9 inches away from light. temps kept 73-78 . low sixties during lights off (night)

Hello all
Got many pictures this time. I'll be out of town for a week, in a week.
Hopefuly I'll be able to take cuttings before I go, incase something happens to these. Someone is sitting them. Vaportek will be set-up before I leave as well. They don't smell yet, prolly another week.

Hello all, one last update before we fly off to mexico.
I have had close to no problems to date. One of the cali-o's got a mineral diff. but is still growing well. I moved it under two cfl's, so I could space the other 9 more effitiantly.
Just been handwatering every couple days, it's easy to tell when they need water, as they weight close to nothing when dry.
tap water w/ 600ppm gh floranova grow. Have not checked the PH yet, except with a shitty strip. the PH meter got in yesterday, need to pick up a buffer solution to calibrate. I let the water+nutrients sit overnight before I water.
