C- Banana aka Banana Kush

here are some pics of the one i have, these are at 4 weeks.
you can see the 3 leaf sets and sugar on the fans. this run
was a little high on the nitrogen content, used Gen Organic
bio thrive bloom with an organic coco based compost. this
plant was grown vertically with a 400w CMH.

Nope. This is supposedly different than the OrgnKid cut - his (your) cut looks much more like Ghost OG than the cut that IC OVO is running, imo.

I think this was discussed already because mr. Goodbudz posted his Orgnkid banana og . I also have the Orgnkid banana and ghost cut that I'll be growing out shortly. I am gonna run them side by side.

I know jaws runs a banana kush cut and from what I read is supposed to be different than the banana og.

So maybe that is the difference between the two one is banana kush and the other obviously Orgnkid banana og.

i've never heard of orgnkid's cutting having higher CBD ratios, but i know it was crossed with pandora's box and the resulting progeny was a high cbd strain.

those pictures you just put up look exactly like my cut when it finishes proper. that run i showed was not really proper, so it is hard to spot the resemblance. see how the top has short fox tails coming from over every 3 leaf set? also how the bud beneath the top is shaped, two major nodes, hardly any leaf, and the top calyx set grows straight up instead of being rounded off.

my cutting came from swayzie. the ghost og also has the 3 leaf trait that your cutting seems to have, and has very distinctive fox tails like yours as well.

from what i've always heard, orgnkid's banana is

ghost og x sagarmatha 60/40

does yours taste like banana runts on the initial exhale then finish very kushy, or is it the banana peel variety?

Taste and smell is hard to describe accurately. The best I can do is sweet/fruity banana flavored candy / banana bread.

Damn dude. Your GG#4 and Chiquita might just be the two best things I've ever smoked. I never was a fan of Banana Kush, I always found it too mild. But this.... jesus. It's right on par with the GG#4. Well done.

I wish you took strain requests hahah.

I responded to you in the GG#4 bud pics thread but thought I'd do so here for good measure.

I've been enjoying them for a month now, and I do have to say I prefer the GG#4 overall, but that takes absolutely nothing away from this Banana cut of yours. Truly awesome.

The smell is so perfect, I've had another person's cut of Chiquita Banana recently as well (my friend said he got it from CHAI, but I assume it is not yours as I believe, despite it also being in the 30s % wise, it was more indica), and yours won out. Less musky earth covering the banana bread with yours.

I've certainly placed this firmly in the top 5, if not top 3. I think it's fighting Candy Land for #3 in my all time list, behind the GG#4 and Kosher Kush.

I used to think Banana Kush was just.... underwhelming and boring. I'm so glad to be wrong. Great stuff man, really looking forward to your next drop!

Great, thank you for the feedback. The run you got from CHAI is the same cut, as thats from a very good friend of mine. Different grow styles, different grower, different room though.

Next drop isn't too far out and I'm pleased to say this run is surpassing the last one. I didn't think that was possible but the quality/structure is MUCH better due to some lighting changes I made. I don't know if the potency will break records like last time, but I think overall the quality will be higher.
