Good morning brothers and sisters! View attachment 19106303 View attachment 19106304

Mostly cloudy with some sprinkles starting at 38F and predicted to reach 48F. Probably a good time to turn off and drain the sprinkler system and outside water.

I forgot to add vinegar to the water when I soaked my beans for the bean soup, and you can sure tell the difference. With a six-pound batch, it's going to be noisy here for a while.

The good news is that our Ford EV is ready for pickup, and it wasn't the battery.
Now ya might want to follow up with your last mortar round by calling out the exemplary (adequate?) response from the other outfit.

Morning folks! Lovely day out and not too cold. I might wear shorts and flops when I run errands. Speaking of, I need to get this show on the road.

peace

living off grid is a new but somewhat familiar experience

we haul water up from the creek in 5 gallon buckets for washing dishes and other things

drinking water is procured at Swedes sisters homestead which is the 20 acres next to us

we take showers indoors and cook on a two burner propane stove

have to get an adapter , 30 amp male on one end to plug into the generator and a 50 amp female end to plug in the tiny home

this is like glamorous camping 😂💪🏻😂

Awright. Ya beat me. NFW am I gonna give up my California King-Sized Sleigh Bed and slovenly recliner chair.

(*snigger*) There's just Herself any Your Humble Obd'nt &tc here at Chateau Sneakydicker, but in one of the bathrooms you could have someone in the shower, someone else in the tub, and a third person taking a big hairy Annapolis at the the same time -- all out of sight of each other.

We have all detected the inherited chromosonal bent you've got: The Wanderlust. Your genetic makeup is different from mine.

I want a castle in the wilderness nearby to a Publix supermarket.

You want a tent on a wilderness island where there are no humans but lotsa animals, grottos, and arrowheads.

I got mine; you are clearly still searching. That is a very good thing: You are just the right age to search.

it sure does

as a kid we had coal stoves for heating and cooking , well water with a hand pump in the kitchen sink , and of course an outhouse

first time I saw indoor plumbing was 1958 when we moved from Utah to Southern California

living off grid has reminded me of my childhood and is helping me appreciate just how easy and comfortable modern conveniences are

coffee is percolating and the little cozy home sure smells good and will smell even better when the bacon and eggs are cooking
