InNvBoarder: Thanks for your help. I'm trying to get this nutrient thing under control. It's a pretty hard thing to learn, but learning it seems to be the holy grail of growing. Everybody has their way, it's just finding how to do it in that works for you that tends to be hard. Heh thanks for the advice on the grow big. I had the chance to feed her with it yesterday, but opted not to for some reason or another. I come here and read your post and learned that I made a the correct choice.

Red_Greenery: I hate to say, but I never ended up buying the dolomite lime. The Epsom salt seemed to do the trick or at least fool me into thinking it did the trick. I'll look at getting some lime next grow when I'm growing Sweet Tooth *drools* I want to dial that grow in as best I can. I'm really stoked about being able to grow that strain and I want the best I am able to do for it. Thanks for checking in. I promise she'll produce some nice buds that will make you proud.

Thanks InNvBoarder and Red! Your words are very encouraging! And to reward you here are some pictures of developing bud shots!

I'm just going to leave the screen on from now on out. I think it's a good idea right now. I'll be getting some FoxFarm nutes next week and she'll get to taste them sometime next weekend.

I'm pretty damn excited all around right now! The plant is developing exponential rate that has caught me by surprise. Everyday I look she looks a little bit better. Being able to see physical improvement is a real encouragement to the growing process.

Fox Farm products arent bad at all I use alot of them Big Bloom is a good stabalizer for ya, it will help with alot of your nutes problems. I mean it will fix what your plant is difficant of, be careful with all the other FF products though, there strong and you can nute burn real easy. Big Bloom's cool you can use the shit out of that but go half strength on the rest(just to start) dont wanna burn nothin lol Id also look into gettin some Indonesian Guano 0.5-12-0.2 work wonders for flowering!

Check out some of the flowering nutes used in my area. Along with FF Big Bloom, Beastie Bloom, and Cha Ching And check out the fruits of our labor lol Peace bro grow safe!

Thanks again. I don't mean to sound like a FoxFarm-freak, but I have had a hard time locating any other organic fertilizers. FoxFarm happens to be the only organic nutrient I know where to find near my area. For me even to get FoxFarm I have to drive about an hour and a half, however it's not a problem because that place is also my home town which I visit fairly often. They also have soil supplement(Happy Frog and other brands) I plan to pick up at least one eventually. I will definitely look into getting any other organic products I can find when I can find them. I think I might just need to look a little harder where I am. I go to a pretty big school that has as huge focus on Agriculture so I'm bound to find if I look, no?

Anyway I have another quick update. I went to check on her today when I noticed that one of her main top branches was cracked at the top. I moved around the screen(which isn't being supported by the plant) and found out that was most likely the cause of stress. So I decided to go with what Red_Greenery said, which is to go without the screen. She is spread out nice anyway, I see no dire reason to keep the screen. I hope the branch will heal up!

Here is a picture out of the cab without the screen on. The branch that was 'pealing off' is the one growing to the bottom right in the photograph.

Thank you for the kind words Black Rain

Bud shots on Day 17! This is making me stoked! I wish I had purple buds, but I'm just grateful I have fresh buds of any kind in front of me!

Day 18 of flowering.

Today is quiet a nice day. Outside a yellow-orange orb arcs overhead, bathing the land below in bright light and subtle warmth. Oh how I wish the out doors were not off-limits for me to grow...

Any way for a short stint I no longer have classes to tend to, summer is here! I now have the time to make the trek back home and pick up some of those wonderful flowering nutrients available to me when I make that trip. I will be picking up FoxFarm Big Bloom and FoxFarm Tiger Bloom.

My AK-48 baby had her first day of Sun bathing in the windows yesterday. Just the four hours or so that she soaked it in seemed to have an immense impact on growth. I was stunned when I checked growth this morning. White pistils are spewing from every possible node and the smell that she emanates is to die for. Even 1000 watts HPS have nothing on the all mighty Sun! I have only one bitch right now and that is she is starting to show signs of a deficiency in on some of the outer branches. They are beginning to turn a red-purple color from green. Hopefully some flowering nutrients in a few days will make her buck up!

Here are some half decent pictures from today:

Here is an update for day 23 in flowering. For the last few days she has had H2O only. I finally picked up those nutrients and fed her a 2 tbl spoon Big Bloom + 4 ts spoon Tiger Bloom / 1 gallon of water. So hopefully she'll bulk up and rid herself of those nutrient deficiency problems that she is showing. That being said I think she's looking amazing. The bud sites are everywhere. I'm having a hard time choosing what fan leaves to trim away and what to keep. I'm pretty damn amazed at the amount of white pistils shooting off in every direction from her flowers!

Also today I got my new seeds for my next grow: Barney's Farm's Sweet Tooth(10 ct), MOD seeds Dream Goddess(10 ct), and Blockhead(5 ct). The last two were freebies for ordering Sweet Tooth. I'm stoked to grow again after this plant. I think I'm going to go with the Sweet Tooth first. I haven't ever seen it grown on these boards and I'd like to see if the name meets the reputation the plant has. :p

Any who here are some budshots after I trimmed her. Please don't mind the bad photos. I will have better, more clear shots by the end of the day!

Thanks! She's under 220 watts of CFLs most of the time. I put her in the sunlight every now and then when it peeks through my windows. If I do that she sits there for around 3-5 hours of sunlight for the most part. I think it will help her bulk up during flowering. She always starts and finishes the day in her cab though. She has only had about 5 or 6 of those type of days at most.

I though you were running fluros only thats cool! One day you gotta invest in a HPS even a 100wt hps would be as good as all those fluros! What you got is still looking awesome bro not trying to knock ya down major props so far cant wait to see those colas fill in!!!

I plan on investing in a 150 watt HPS when I am able to get a bigger and better cab. The cab I currently use would just be a fire scare for me with an HPS. I want to be able to support 2 plants with a 150 Watt HPS and in order to do that I would need a larger cab.

Any who - She finally had some flowering nutrients given to her and I think she's loving them. Around what day(s) in flowering should I expect trichomes to start appearing?

Here are some budshots on day 24.

Hiya Budless
Looking good my friend! Trich's should start appearing any time now - you have a magnifier to take a look? You might be surprised to see tiny trichs already forming. Some plants are slower than others. On my current run the C13 looks far along at 30 days while the amnesia99 looks like she's just getting started. You have a fine harvest in the making! :canabis::yummy:

Day 28

She's looking quite nice. Her stretch has stopped and she's starting to get frosty. I'm pretty damn excited. Not only are her developing fan(??) leaves starting to get trichomes on them the buds are also riddled with trichomes. I've been feeding her a Tiger Bloom + Big Bloom and she's eating it all up. Also her resin production has upped a good bit. I was leaning over her to water the other day and I got several strong wiffs of her scent. She smells excellent. Anywho I'll be back with pictures in a day or two!
