Budless' AK-48 Grow!

First off budless, your Ak-48 looks great. You seem to have made great progress since your first grow, and I have to give you props for that!

As for the yellowing leaves, yes Core....it looks like a N deficiency to me.....but i'd like to know what nutes your giving it right now before you take any action.

If your giving them a nute with very low (or no) N, I would give them a TINY amount of your big bloom. The yellowing of the fans is not a big deal though, you're AK-48 still looks amazing!

Shes looking great budless!!! I agree that the yellowing is N deficiency. About your days till chop, i would let her go at least 55 days then check her out. Whenever you think shes done let her go 2 days min then chop. It takes a bit longer for buds to ripen under CFL's not as intense light. Everything is looking great bro i wouldnt worry too much about the leaves, worry if you see buds starting to get problems!! Grow on bro!

Core - Thanks for the props on my progress. Following 4 tea spoons/ 1 gallon for the Tiger Bloom along with 2 table spoons/ 1 gallon for the Big Bloom. That's for the heavy feeding. The light feeding is 4 table spoons/ 1 gallon of molasses solution.

Dr. Bloom - Again thanks for the props. And thanks for the advice. I'll try giving them a tiny amount of big bloom. She's drinking so fast that we pretty much have to water it every 3 - 4 days. I was using an alternating schedule with the heavy and light feeds, but now I think I'm going to use; Heavy, light molasses, pure water, Heavy,...

InNvBoarder - I forgot to mention that she's under the 400 watt HPS right now. I am able to keep her under it for the duration of this grow. She only spent a few days under the CFLs.

Update! I know these updates aren't as frequent as they used to be, but at least they're getting around. She's looking a bit more roughed up than last time I gave her a look. Also she's drinking like a mad woman. She has to be watered almost ever other day. Any tips?

Oh yeah these pictures aren't great, but I'll get some better ones sometime around Friday.

The fan leaves are yellowing and falling off, but I'm not too worried because she's so close to finishing. I can't wait!!! I bet you guys can't either. Thanks for sticking around so far and I'll have more to come.

How many days are you planning to let that sweet lady go?? I think I remember you saying 55?? Are you still going with that. I must also say DAMN that is a pretty plant!! I have my diffrent stains at day 38 right now and they arent filling in that much yet. Major props bro Your getting closer and closer to that QP quota!!!!!

The plant is doing alright. Her fan leaves keep wilting off and it's stressing out to an extent. Though at this point I'm trying to not be too worried because she's close to the cute date. Unfortunately the plant hasn't been under my care for some time. A very close friend is keeping it for me right now. I have a lot going on in my life and I don't have the time or space to keep it around these days. Also it's able to stay under the 400 watt HPS for the rest of it's time. That being said I haven't been able to figure out what's causing the leaves to wilt off. I gave very detailed water/feed instructions that are followed to the T, so who knows?

Updates will most likely be more frequent from here on out.

Thanks Black Ra1n. You'll love AK-48 to death. A fast flowering plant coupled with an intense frost is something I hate to give up. You'll love the plant, BR. Unfortunately for me, this will be my last grow with her. I gave a clone away to a 'friend' a while back and now I hear he's plans on trying to charge me for it. I say **** that and **** him. I'm not even going to go knock on a door that shelters people with zero understanding give and take. Instead I'm going to go with some new beans for my next grow. I love this AK-48, but I can say good bye to her. She had her run.

Update!

We'll she is doing alright I suppose. The amount of fan leaves that have fallen off during this flowering session is disheartening, but since I'm not her general care-taker I can't be too irritated with it. So in the spirit of looking for the bright side of things all I can think is how fat and frosty those buds are right now!

This pictures were taken day 42 which was when my old plant was chopped. The old plant about killed me with the knock-out high, this one is damn sure to to do the same. I cannot wait! I am hoping I can pull 3 Oz off of her. Since she's been out of my hands I lost touch with the idea that I might get 4 zips from her, but I'm not too saddened by it. That's a lot of dank bud for me to have around... matter-of-fact the most dank bud I've ever had around me period. /Mr. Burns, "Exxxecellent, Smithers..." /Mr. Burns.

I'd love to hear opinions on her! If you guys stick around I'll most likely have harvest day pictures, finial weights, and many a blunt shots for all to see!

Thats a real pretty plant!!! I bet you will notice a big difference in the high from this one. Letting her grow longer and under that 400 is going to be a huge improvement! Make sure you dont get chop crazy early. Let her get all 55 days, and do a good flush. Good grow bro!!!

Thanks for the uplifting comment! I'm glad to hear the high will be much different from the last. Hopefully it will be more mind-bending this time around. The flush cycle started yesterday in prep for cut time.
