Breaking Bad

Hello all,

I think the tears were for what he has become. That it was he that lead Jesse to where they are now...laying next to a dead junky. The responsibility.

The Horror, the Horror....

I am thinking the opening pool scenes with the stuffed animal (looks to have been in an explosion) and the bodies onthe driveway...looks like a scene of retrobution or retaliation.

I also am thinking these are scenes from way further toward the end.

As Randude was mentioning, John de Lancie (Donald) is a good actor. I suppose even though Jane died, I think we willbe seeing more of him. I hope anyway.

but I thought speedballs were coke and heroin...

I think traditionally a speedball is coke and H, but generically the term 'speedball' can refer to any mix of a depressant and a stimulant. So a Vodka Redbull is a type of speedball.
Were they just doing H at the end, though? I remember watching Jane walk Jesse through the cooking and injecting process, but I don't recall Jesse putting some meth in at the end.

Arctic: I think definitely, Walt would NOT have come back to Jesse's apartment if not for running into Jane's dad at the bar. Walt realized that at this point, Jesse was as close to him as a nephew, and certainly the experiences they have shared are ones that could never have happened with his family...

A lot of posters are busting on Jane, but you know, I think there are a lot of people like Jane, too weak-willed to have any serious morals, and in too desperate of a situation to feel like they have any other choice.
I think it's still uncertain as to whether Jane would really have snitched, or whether Jesse would have allowed her to. On the one hand, that money really did belong to Jesse; on the other, I know why Walt did not want them to have that money.
Which really brings me to this point: how dangerous is it for 2 heroin/meth addicts to have half a million dollars? Are we talking: they'll be broke and dead within 2 years, 100%?
I think it really comes down to the person. Jesse has proven himself to be a person who makes rash and/or unwise decisions. Jane can be viewed as selfish/evil by her actions, although in her view she may only be standing up for their rights.
So yes, giving these 2 addicts half a mil is probably a very bad idea, 90% likely to turn out disastrous.
Can you ever trust an addict? Are there any high-functioning addicts out there? I believe there are, although they are probably marked by eccentric behavior.

Sometimes people have to be snuffed out like a bad habit and Jane just happened to be one of those people she would have snitched it wasn't a matter of if she would it was when she would. I also could have seen her leaving Jesse in the middle of the night with the cash if she could have. Walt did the best thing let her die can't wait till tonights episode.

Hello all,

Here on the left coast it comes on at 7p....25 minutes or so...just had a fine dinner (Ckicken ala King over rice) ...and am just settling in for a few bong rips of some SDOG v1.0 before the show starts.

I am saddened that this season is over. I thought it was as short season last year because of the writters strike but I guess I was wrong.

It is my understanding there willbe two more seasons...is this correct?

Plane crash? Not very impressed by that ending. Unless Skylar got nailed by an engine or something. :joint:

A shad disapointing. They fore shadowed a plane crash in the opening scene and kind of spoiled the whole stuffed toy for me cuz I knew from the start that a plane would crash before the hour was up.

I think we all need a lawyer like Saul. My divorce would have gone much more to my liking.

Dude I think that was her plane, notice the toy looking familiar?Well, maybe she didn't fly; I guess she drove...her sister isn't that far; but that would of been wacked....still was...and ya the opening scene ruined the guess work....

Her plane?,.. what her plane? Skylar was driving to Hanks house, no planes involved with that.

What's weird is that Jane's dad appeared to have his shit together as he guided those planes. You don't think he actualy meant to cause that crash do you guys?

I think the plane crash was the result of Jane's father's grief. C'mon guys, he was obviously losing it, two planes too close together on the radar, then two plumes of smoke rising in the backdrop.

I don't think he meant to, and ya I goofed up about her on the plane...the toy/doll showed up a lot at the start of shows.....and ya I knew she was driving, but for some reason I was not thinking of season three. There are a lot of personal repercussions at this point, not sure what the point of the plane crash is.....other than we don't need people in that mental despair to be guiding planes.

Not a gas leak after all
