Hello all,

Yeah, wow, I thought he was going to stand bye and watch.

The tears I wonder are for her or himself for what he has become.

I love how the plot is slowly consuming Walt.

The bar scene was a twist I did not see coming.

All of the above says I.

Next week should be a hoot. Maybe we'll finaly find out what the body bags and the stuffed toy at his pool are all about. That carrot has been hanging out there for a good while now.

I'm glad I download the episodes so I can skip right through most of the skylar stuff lol...
the character who plays Walts new buyer was a refreshing surprise. I know I've seen that guy in other shows/ movies, anybody got a clue what he has acted in??

Yeh, the actor who plays Walt's new buyer was familiar to me too. After wracking my brain for a couple of hours it finally popped into my head.

He is Giancarlo Esposito and was one of the characters on another T.V. show called "Homicide, Life in the Street". He played officer Mike Giardello, the son of the shift commander Al Giardello. Came on the show in the last couple of seasons before it was cancelled in 1999.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giancarlo_Esposito.

I see from this link he has had cameo roles in quite a few productions over the past ten years.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002064/

He looks a little grayer now although that's not a big surprise since it's been ten years since that role.

I agree, he is an interesting contrast with Tuco. That's one of the great things about this show. All the supporting actors are strong and have their own stories.

You know for sure that if Jesse stayed with his girlfriend disaster would follow, either she would rip him off, burn through all his money and go back to Walt for more, something.

Walt's decision on the spot to watch her OD was wrenching.

Walt did the only thing and the right thing for Jessie. It's clear the little junkie chic had Jesse's nose wide open. She would have ruined everything just like women do and have done since the beginning of time. I hope some are doing more than just watching this show. They are touching some super realistic issues that I've seen with my own eyes.

Everyone knows a Jesse. Too bad most don't have a Walt.. Great show...

I thought for sure this last episode was going to be walt ripping jesse off. He treats the kid like shit, even if he is a dumbass.

When he went back to talk to jesse and she started puking and he just stood there, I literally found myself on the edge of the couch saying out loud, Do something man! I was shocked, but, Jesse was being taken out by the gash and that girl had "my money" in her head the minute walt handed over the bag. He did what was best for jesse but damn, that was cold.
Jesses heroine affliction is just beginning. The guilt will kick in over her dying and combine that with the withdrawls and we got a few episodes of material right there

I can't stand Skylar. Walt's trying to his family up after he dies and all she can say is "do you have a second phone". Typical women.

I love this show, it sucks the season is almost over.

Hard to believe Walt is Hal from malcolm in the middle. I thought after a run on a show like that he'd be doomed to play a dumbass for the rest of his acting career.

Yeah, that has been bugging me for a while now, I keep thinking they are going to go more in depth about it, but then the little breaking bad intro starts and the real episode begins...leaving me confused and disappointed.
I'm not saying he wasn't good in mitm. I love that show and still tivo it to this day. I'm saying Hal was a dumbass and some actors get stuck in the characters they play.

That would be too bad. I really liked him in MITM, but I also can't imagine anybody else pulling off walts role as well as he has.

You guys all say that walt watched jessies chick die and let it happen to save jessie, but I feel like there was a more selfish purpose to it. Sure he saved jessie, but he saved himself too. Remember when she said that he would never know if she was really done blackmailing him? Well, now he is pretty damn sure she wont say anything.

Good point. Walt will do whatever it takes to protect his interests. He did both in that one move.

The reason why he was crying i think, was that hes the one who lead her to her own grave and by giving the money to them too soon, before he could have a chance to talk to jesse and say how he really feels about him and his attitude. If he didn't give the money to them, I don't think she would of died that night. i guess the greed got to her that she felt like she could of celebrate by injecting that shit just a little more into her system.

can`t wait till the next episode.

cheers

I'm pretty sure he's crying because he knows he probably aint gonna be around to try and make sure his newborn daughter doesn't go down the same path as that junkie. The idea that something like that could happen to her is too much for him to bare and he can't hold his mud over the thought of it.

"Oh gee I feel so bad I'm gonna cry cuz I let this junkie bitch die", is way out of character for Walt at this point. The writers made sure to paint her as nothing more than a snake before killing her off for good reason. Some people are just no good, simple as that.

I love this show, I love the fact the the writers have gone to great pains to make Jesse the most likable character in the series, no easy feat to say the least.

Before I get to plot assumptions, I watched the first half. I think she is a good girl, Jesse messed up by letting her get high. She was freaked about power issues with her old man, then Walt caused her death by having her get pushed over.

Walt touched the syringe.

Jesse, his half of the cash is in the house with a dead girl

Something bad is brewing, it wasn't as hard seeing her pass this time; the first time was disgusting.

How will Jane's death affect Jesse? Will he go clean or spiral deeper into drug abuse in order to heal his pain?

More important, how will Jane's death affect Donald, her father? He's not going to be happy with Jesse after this, and will probably go to any lengths to make sure Jesse pays for his role in Jane's death. BTW, nice to see the actor who played Q, the omnipotent alien from Star Trek The Next generation, getting work again....

On a side note, is this show misogynistic? As others have pointed out, none of the female characters seem very sympathetic. I don't think they're any more flawed than the male characters, but that's just me....

"You see this? This is what Daddy did for you..."

Her doing heroin and meth is the cause, not Walt. I'm laying down right now in fact and voila, no puke. Here, I'll even vape too just to show you how safe it is.

Jesse will be better off. That kid is too impressionable and she was only getting in the way of him making multiple $1.2 mil. deals. She chose the drugs, not Jesse! He had done meth before and not died. Women...(jk)

When i was watching this episode, i thought for sure that once he realized they were passed out, he would just overdose her (or both of them). The writers played into that, and i thought it was really cool that he went for the syringe for a second. When she was explaining "the works" to jesse earlier, she explained why he had to lay on his side, and i KNEW that would play into the plot later.

The next morning, she was supposed to go to rehab with daddy. Dad's going to show up, bust in the door, and beat the fuck out of jesse.

This show is great and i really cant imagine what the finale will be like!

What the hell was he doing there in the first place? He was supposed to be getting Diapers.

Well, it's looking pretty sure that there will be two bodies in Walts driveway (or pool deck). Judging from the trailer, we should also get another big fat lie for Skylar, since he won't tell her everything like the trailer hints at. He won't tell her anything. They've thrown that false hint out there before. The trailers always try to steer you the wrong way. Obviously some major shit is about to go down, but, thats what this show is all about. They constantly jump from one fuck up to the next. This season should end on one hell of a fuck up. If you hate cliff hangers, then prepare to be aggravated. AND WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT STUFFED TOY DOING AT THE BOTTTOM OF THE POOL?

rewatching the episode again, and wondering...:

Do you think walt would have returned to Jesse's place if he hadn't talked to Jane's dad? Messed up that her Dad and Walt talking led Walt back to Jesse's, knocking Jane over.... weird shit.

Also, maybe he cried because he was explaining to his sister in law why to lay the baby on her side so she doesn't choke in her sleep...some sort of daughter thing
