Wha? Inject milk? Is there a specific place that you inject it? lol my kush is a junkie.

I injected it straight into the main stalk, which got like 3 times as big. With sqash and mellons, the take a small triangular cut out of the vine and dip it in a bowl of milk. A change on the method, I admit, but hey if you don't try things, you will never know if they will work or not.

Thank you for your respect brother. I tell you what, anyone can get plants like this. I am a strong believer in the Scientific Method. Basically, everything I have been curious about I have done to these plants. Some general knowledge about plant life helps, and not everything you try works, but when it does, it makes all the mistakes worth while. I also learn a lot from watching others do it. Aerohead is basically my mentor when it comes to hydro DWC or Aeroponic growing. I did it with years and years of trial and error on all different kinds of plants...

To give you a weird example, I once injected Train Wreck with milk... it is a technique used in squashes that begats huge fruit. Suprising enough the milk did not kill the plant, it made it very strong and the nuggies were krazy heady.....

Just one example of using your intelegence to try something, and see if it works or not. If it does not, don't try it anymore, move on to another idea promptly. That's my advice, and I'm stickin to it!:smokeit:

That is SUPER interesting dude! I've never heard of such a thing so did you inject it with like a diabetic 50cc syringe? and just inject into the main stalk? I'm totally willing to give it a try and see if I can increase my yield in my CFL cab that just might be the secret to beat HID grows you could be onto some serious shit here bro...

I used a meat syringe, I suppose a 50cc syringe would work, the meat syringe really screwed up the stalk. And from my expierence, injecting milk into just about any plant will not kill the plant for some reason, they seem to enjoy it a bit, I did not repeat the injection though sometimes I wonder what that would have done, I didn't carry the test further, It did not kill the plants, and they had crazy good heady responses.

And playing around, you can never do too much of, unless you do not have the supply of plants to screw up. Mine right now are kind of risky, because I only have 1 plant at any time of Mary Purpins. Matter of fact, I will be cutting a few clones off what you see above in order to get some more going for next round.

It is a tiring effort to do, but she is the only one and she is amazing.

le crunch, No questions are dumb. It is the person who asks no questions who is dumb. The circular object is actually another fan... a bit larger and it is the export fan... It provides cooling from any heat of the bulbs. Thanks for dropping buy and have a great 2010!

Hey Boleman

Thats some wicked haircut you gave your girls. :respect:

Thanks bro. Just in case you were wondering, I did this so the plant puts all the growth into the side arms of her, instead of growing a giant water leaf which she does not need in aeroponic growing.

Cheers Boleman I thought it was maybe another fan but wasn't sure. Good luck with this grow - it's a sweet set-up!

Thats awesome, would this work in regular DWC too? and do you risk stressing the plant by doing this?

nice read, not sure on the milk thing but i like to give my stems a crush or squeeze if they get too stretchy and those nugs above the crush always seem to be tighter and bigger and all around better, makes the stems stronger for more support, its like what doesnt kill it makes it stronger

Great question. I have found in my 17 years of using this method that the first time you do it you will have some stress to the plant. This is because you are usually cutting more than one leaf at once using this method. After the first time, each time you can see the water leaf has a stem long enough to cut after that point will almost cause no stress at all on the plant and it will actually grow faster.

The stem crush squeeze method is great both for growing herb, and nipples! Go figure!
