So I will need a "T" at every plant site right? And for the bottom rows, should I get an "L" to cut off the water flow?

Nope, you use the bottom as a feed line as well, and stick a drip stake in the end and put it inside of a pot. ;) So the last tee will have 2 drip stakes coming off of it, and the rest in the line will have 1.

Your welcome, Bobble, it more than deserves to be stickied, the vert forum was put here for many reasons, one reason was for the DIY, vertical growing has the fun benefit of being able to play about and build many many different systems and it's threads like these that need to be seen first so people can build a new or improve on their current setup with the helpful information. There are many great threads that deserve to be stickied, expect more to be added in the future.

DHF I have no doubt that bobble is on to a winner with his bobblepods, and bobble I know you didn't hit the yield that you were looking for in your pods but I know you will be getting heavy harvests as soon as you narrow down which strain would work best, monocrop and dial it in.

Narrow, mono, and dial

FTW

6 weeks last saturday... Things haven't been going perfect... It's always something. I've lost 2 plants due to drying out. I have others with yellowing b/c of dehydration. I find that with the drip stakes, you should keep them open, but not too open, or the water pressure will unscrew the top and make it pop off. That messes up the water pressure to all the other stakes. Too tight and the drip stakes can clog up. So, a nice steady flow with multiple short feeds FTW... and I guess it's better to let a little juice hit the floor than not have the plant get enough water.

So I really appreciate that you guys made my thread a sticky, however I feel that so far I haven't been living up to my personal standards. I've withdrawn a bit lately to focus internally on what I can do better... and I've had a few people give me some really good advice.

I lost pretty much all the cuts I took last time... as usual. I've wasted 100's of cuts this summer. Talking to a friend, we figured out it's most likely my temperature. it's never under 80F in the basement. Clones are being kept upstairs now. I also added tons of perlite to my mix, so it's mostly perlite with a little coco. That should make for a good cloning mix.

My veg tent is going to move upstairs... That'll disperse 1200w of heat.

I'm buying small ultrasonic foggers, that I'm going to put in little plastic tubs around the pods... with humidistats for each pod. I'll plumb them all together so they're automatically refilled. Pumping out humidified air from my veg tent was also pumping out a few extra degrees of heat.

I started building more racks... and this time I'm going to do a more detailed tutorial for anyone that missed it in the first thread.

When I originally built everything, I didn't have a truck to get more lumber from the store... so I just stapled the plastic to the ceiling and taped it to the walls... Now I'm framing the pods in with 2x2.

I've found a house to buy and come up with a business model for what I'm doing with the houses when I'm done growing in them.

Oh, and I'm going to test out some of SRGB's square root grow pots.

There's lots of good things to come from me guys...

sorry to here about the 2 plant loss bobble... my stadium was hand fed as you know and it took me 5 weeks to get the feeding perfect with no run off but enough water and that was by hand watching it as you do it....

Maybe time to look at blumats? or some sort of gutter system so the plants can flood and the water can drain away and not piss all over the floor fucking up humidity later on in flower when you needs it lowlow...

i know your figure it out chin up mate :comfort:

Yeah bro, I don't know how you do it by hand... ur crazy. I'm looking at expanding kinda rapidly... and running 96-144 plants per 8x8 pod. I'm about to build 2 more in another month. I'm counting on myself to learn how to clone before then. Anyway, $6 a piece... and I'm looking at 144 x 5... 720 blumats. lol... pumps and drip stakes for now. I just have to find the perfect feed rate.

I had a question for ya... but I forgot already. I'll hit you up in PM when I remember.

yea bobble i was having an issue with those emmitter things also. got tired of dealing with it, so i just took the emitter off, stuck a tee on the end, and just added like an inch or two of tubing on the tees. so at least i have two delivery points, and i dont have to worry about any clogging or what not.

everything looks good even with the little mishap, cant wait to see you pumping at full speed.
