Don't you just love the way DHF put's things;

RE> You DEFINITELY won`t see increases of 35-75% as purported by the Whore`s sellin said equipment......

LOL now don't hold back DHF, what do you REALLY you think of them! I learn SO much here thanks again for sharing, cuz "sharing is caring" (Care Bears circa late 80's)

Grow on bro....

That's what I want my threads to be about. Some guys are here to brag. I'm here to learn and help others do the same. I spend hours doing research. I wish I was so determined in all of my classes... lol But Lifespan Development just bores the shit out of me...

Hydro shops will try to sell you everything under their artificial sun... If you don't educated yourself, you might think they know what they're talking about.

hey bobble, been checking everything out. looks like everything is picking up. sucks about the males, cant wait to see that thing completely packed out. its nice to see someone else who goes to school full time while doing this on the side. haha i know exactly how you feel about being able to research for hours for this, yet not being able to do it for school. same with me. whats your major if you dont mind me asking? in my third year of architecture, cant wait to be done, two more years. good luck , and cant wait to see this thing done.

I`m just bored from not growin....Nothin but first hand witness over here , be it bad or good......Knowledge is power....The more you learn , the more you earn........period.......

Never could understand why folks put a heater in their grow rooms for increased yields , that fought the environmental control of the a/c in sealed rooms......

Krusty usedta run CO2 tanks with 1/4" driptubing lines and holes drilled all in the shit hangin down amongst those bigass bitches he grew , and after having not used it with his so-called "Ghetto-Grows" as well as no "air-to-roots" , yields stayed comparable.....so...

It`s a good thing that Bobble wants ta blast past the hype and bullshit preconceptions that it takes megawatts , mega CO2 , sealed rooms and all the bells and whistles for dialage , when it`s really the little things.........

Hope I`m not bein too much of a nuisance Bro..........Just tryinta help.........

Peace.....DHF.......:ying:.....

I have a business degree and I'm pursuing a nursing degree. I don't really like the selling part of caregiving... But I'll put up with the business end of things to pay for school, house, car, etc... This won't be a forever thing for me. I wanna be like DHF, chillin on the beach, fishin... If I was into fishing anyway... lol

I`m just bored from not growin........If you don`t grow , you wither.......The more yas learn , the more yas earn.......

DHF, please blow up my thread as much as you want. No joke, I was just searching out your posts last night, where you were giving a newb some advice. I didn't realize you used pond liners, and that's what was painted white blended with mildew resistant paint. I was about to paint the basement floor. lol... So please, bring all of your experience over this way. I'm going over everything to make sure I get most of it right this time...

You saw it right Bobble.....

You saw it right Bobble.....

I always painted my concrete floors with epoxy and bathroom mildewcidal ultra flat white paint mixed 50/50 before I went to Heath`s vertical racks , maybe I just didn`t make it clear bout the pondliner bein for the potential runoff with the coco setup.......

Regardless...Anything I can do ta help just holler.....I`m old fart retired , and all this is right in front of ya`ll......It`s your time......Handle it.......Here ta help put yas on da beach with me......You ain`t gotta fish.......LOL.....

Peace......DHF....:ying:.....

nice to know about your experiance with c02...i also have several friends who never run CO2 yet still produce some good yeilds and good nugs. also have heard from friends who used co2 and then stopped, they didnt notice that much of a difference.

im tempted to buy a co2 generator but they are running around 300 for the tank and regulator....honestly think im gonna pass for now.

In the future, when I'm looking for grow houses, I'll have to take a CO2 meter with me... ha ha... Brilliant. Makes me think that a house by a steel mill might not be so bad after all... just not to live in. Stinks real bad over there.

Exactly Bro.......I bought foreclosures in low income districts near industrial areas for guaranteed increased ppm`s and immediately surrounded the properties with chainlink fence , a new burglar alarm that dialed my cell phone if breached , and 1 of my pit bulls for added insulation.......

Grew my ass off for a yr while remodeling and upgrading said properties , and at the end of the yr the grows were torn down and moved to the next 1.......

Made enough ta pay off the homes in said yr , and sold em or leased with the option ta buy.....

Simple.....Babyshit......DHF.......:ying:....

DHF is a smart dude, im sure hes much older then me and you bobble and gotten much more experiences, so yeah i always jog down his notes....

well theres a big different between running a generator and bottle, a good bottle set up will cost you about 250 - 300 bucks but you're going to have to keep on refilling that tank every cpl days .. a generator + controller will run you at least 700 - 1000 bucks but you only have to refill the tank every other week..... its add up

and if you use co2 right, its hard to go back with out co2 ... i know plenty people still using co2 and the one that stop is the one that didnt set it up properly ...

cheers,

Red...Got nuttin but love for yas Bro...There`s folks like you that swear by CO2 , and as long as it`s everything you need it to be , that`s all that matters........but....

The only wayta know if t`s actually needed is ta dial environment with relative humidity and constant room temps runnin bare bulbs closeta mid 80`s and A/C`s set ta come on at 85 , while maintaining lights off temps no further than 10 degree variances.....

Heath runs his around 6-8 degree differences..........The bastard.......LOL......

He taught me many yrs ago about exchanging the room`s air twice per minute and using the CO2 inherent in the air we breathe ftw ......

It`s the little things IME.....DHF....

:D

I love a little friendly advice...

I want to get this clear though. Where do I keep my lights off temp? 70-75F? What was your lung room temperature? I have to do some thinking about how I'm going to do the cooling. I'm having good luck with my heat exchanger so far, and for a while still I have a cold air source, so I won't need A/C right away... I will have to get squared away with either a/c's or heat exchangers though sooner than later. I know you said that you put an a/c in the lung room, and in each of the pods... So lung room temps... thanks.

It`s hardta keep lights on/off temps within 10 degrees or less , without a/c`s with heatmode in winter for constant environmental control , but workin in basements has been a blessing for me all these yrs.......

Whatever your average ambient temps are lights on Bobble , as close to that is as perfect as it gets lights off in an indoor grow......

Lung room temps are always cooler cuz there`s more sq ftg as a rule ....

Takes some tweakin Bro , but you da man......

Hey bobblehead cool thread had a flick through will go over it to see what the fuss is about on this coliseum ;)

Just a quick one on night time temps, as plants don't use c02 at night could you not shut the fans down with the lights and on a thermostat controlled heater you can keep your temps at 75 if you so wish, I use a hotbox Superb upuntill the last 2 weeks of flower and then just get it as close to a 10 deg drop as I can with the fans on as humidity worries me that late with bud rot ect...

Just like to add I stumbled on this while an infestation of mites was trying to take my room over I had to get a sulpher box that also stops powdermeldew and kills spores, you have to shut your fans down so it can do it's job at lights off this is how I stumbles on keeping my temps in check at night perfectly :D

You know I'm gonna own this shit bro... ha ha... The temps will stay within 10*. Thanks.

The intake will be on a temperature controller, so I suppose it will shut down when temperatures reach my baseline 70-75F. Circulating and extraction fans run 24/7. Like DHF has been saying, the plants shit out CO2 at night, and you need to remove it so they can get some fresh O2 to breath. That expelled CO2 will enter the lung room, and will be available for the other pod to use before extraction. (2 1800w pods on a flip) That's a good idea, adding a heater to the room... then I could keep using heat exchangers... I'll figure it out.
