Hey mate, love the freak show.
The tri CaliOxMexSat looks good. Have you had a speedy Mex dominant one yet? Those Mexican sativas can be like class As sometimes, eh?
You're turning into the reveg master! I'm gonna need you to hold my hand when the time comes to reveg my Black D.....I really want to keep that lass around for a bit.
You've got to be pleased with the sight when you open the tent.....you've got a great variety and they all look to be happy and doing their thing for you. You know how to keep your harem happy.
Good skills.

Hey dao....

the "Mexican Sativa" (Sensi) I started with - I pollinated several different girls from one stud male - is probably only 2/3rds Oaxacan at best....Sensi crossed it with both hashplant and Durban Poison, for reasons of their own...it's OK smoke, but not Mexican Rocket Fuel.....but I found the male lent some nice visuals and added an intensity to the high....which were largely absent from any of the MS girls I had.

So far in the Cali-O x MS line, it's all been very Cali-O like smoke......with better visuals.....but not super-potent....still daytime weed.....whereas the NL x MS really can get quite intense...strong hybrid high..and a bit speedy...but takes a while longer.

Just did some bondage on the big one (NL x MS) in the tent.....the old "wrap around the power cable" ploy.....she's still stretching at 22 days....getting up into the dark zone above the reflector.....she could be troublesome....

No worries on the reveg.....at your disposal.

On a general note.....I think the MaxiCrop Seaweed extract I'm using now is really making a difference. Plus I'm finally getting over the overwatering habit.....

MaxiCrop! Great shout.....I used to use that many moons ago.....and yeah, I remember being dead chuffed with the results when using that......can't believe I forgot that little gem. If I could rep you, I would. And I quote 'You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Blimey again.' Have to make do with a useful post jobber.
Good job on the bondage-they love it really!
Thanks mate.

5 x Cherryjuana are now up and getting their veg on.....will start promoting them in a couple of weeks, although I haven't decided whether to stagger them or not.

I've created a new album for the Cherryjuana pix, which will have more pix than I'm showing here, for those who are interested.

All looking very similar at the moment. All very vigorous. Seed-pop to 3-bladed leaves in 8 days average.

Hey Blimey if that Cherryjuana is anything like the Herijuana you should be in for a treat as its a nicely narcotic smoke, not the greatest of yielders though :( and if it does not like its environment then nanas will be appearing. I was lucky mine loved the environment but the yield was not great. But I do like the sound of Cherryjuana so will be subscribing to this diary :) Good luck bro!! even though I have seen your grows and you don't need luck you have got it nailed. Peace.

looking good blimey, cant wait to see how they turn out. if the right traits from each strain are retained (big IF ) then it could be a winner of a cross. i have enough Cherryjuana seeds from the batch to donate some to the server fund if all goes well with the grow...

SD - thanks for the big ups, mate.....I'm still getting lucky occasionally rather than nailing it, I think....but I am definitely moving along.

VG - They are all very vigorous (and stretchy) so far. 3 are basically identical, with one with fatter, and one with thinner, leaves.

It's a bit of a jungle view when I unzip the tent door...

Foreground is a Blue Chunk, with a NL x Mexican Sat behind it. Had a couple of heat/air circulation issues over the hot spell, so lots of big plants all huddled together at the dark end.

The NL x Mexican Sat is still going.....wrapped around the power cable......lots of branches with these rather delicate flower clusters....one month in.....not had this pheno before.

The V1 got a little frazzled before I noticed...just a few leaves.

Got a Thai that's being stubborn about showing sex....got a couple of non-descript preflowers....might have to wait until it's potbound before it does anything.....

Hey Blimey...Bring on the CherryJuana mate. I've been checking some Herijuana seeds on another site, potent stuff by all accounts. Might have to sniff round SeedBay if Verdant is thinking of dropping some CherryJ on there.

Still having computer trouble, using sons laptop while he's out.......Been meaning to give you this link but had work from a mobile...so here you are mate.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pure-NEEM-OIL-kill-eradicate-spider-mite-pesticide-free-/270735431977?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Garden_PlantsSeedsBulbs_JN&hash=item3f0916d929

Give those spider mites a tonking with that mate. Using it meself in veg every 3 or four days and in flower once a week if needed for first four weeks of flower. Works wonders for me, I've given me greenhouse a good spraying in readiness for this upcoming season.

Good work mate.

Hey, RD...nice to see ya.

I've just started a new anti-Borg regime.....got one methrin-based spray, one ivermectin-based one, and an acetamiprid-based one....Neem will be my next resort if these don't have enough effect.

Two more weeks at least before the Cherryjuanas hit the tent.....I'm already wondering how I'm going to fit them in....and in what size pots....feeling the pressure lol

Another day, another node.....or so it seems with these.

Subject A. 2 days veg

Subject E. 2 days veg.

Hey Blimey,
That Blue Chunk looks quite different from the last one doesn't it? Maybe this one has more BB in the mix? Does it look more sativa in structure, looks like it from the pic.
I'm hoping you've found a crazy Mexican pheno in that plant wrapped up in the cord! Looks promising...
Looking great in there, loads of variety.
Peace bro.

Hey Dao....

This Blue Chunk seems a lot less "chunky" in the general structure.....it's in a lot bigger pot than the last one.... much bigger plant. Drinks like crazy. I think it will go a bit longer....more spearlike buds rather than the "kush" style....I've been wondering if the heat may have affected the bud structure. In any case, I have high hopes for this one.

Fingers crossed for the NL x MS.....she's certainly in no rush to start putting on weight...just more nodes...

yeah, that - neem oil seems to just slow them down so much that they cant multiply fast enough to be a problem. i read that cold pressed is best

Hey B,
Which one is your favourite?
Mine's the one in the red pot. Back left.
Edit: Subject A it would seem?

A (yep, in the sq pot) is certainly the biggest....but it doesn't have the big elbows.....could be two phenos showing, or the two sexes. Easy to read too much into minor differences this early on.

I haven't picked a favourite yet....let's get the boys out of the way first.

Heh heh...
That's the point.......I always pick one out at the start. They always turn out male!
How long are you gonna veg these for?
Like you say, I reckon you've got 2 phenos there, the taller ones, and the squat, long-armed ones.

I know exactly what you mean.....take a liking to one, and balls are guaranteed!

At least 5 days more veg....at which point, I will either stick them all into the tent at once, or stagger them over a week or so.....depends on how floorspace and pot availability pans out.....don't want to have any of the Cherryjuanas sitting in 12/12 for more than a few days without being up-potted.

looking good once again!, there is very little variation in the heri line, but the CB did have 2 shapes - one where all the sideshoots grew up to pretty much the same height as the top (thats a thai trait afaik) and another that was more pole like with smaller sidebranches that didnt angle away from the main stem so much. also there were red stem/petiole ones and green ones.
fingers crossed for at least a couple of ladies ....
