Afghani x NL......turning out nice.....the (Nirvana) Afghani in this cross was much more "sativa" than one would expect....had a lot of variegation/mutation in the F1s.....not this girl....
The NL x MexiSat is frosting up....nothing special on the yield, but might finish in a decent time...she stopped the stretch about half an inch below the extractor fan.
Chunky Cheese reveg.....big waxy fan leaves.....overfed her a bit....but she should be OK
NL x MexiSat reveg.....much less sat-dom than the other one....
Lemon Chunk x Northern Chunk F1......will be dusting this with pollen....probably either SSH or Cherryjuana.
Nice update man.
How long did you veg the AfganxNL for? That bud will be a beast when it fills out.
What kind of success rate do you get when revegging? I'm sweating over keeping my SourD pheno!
This is another Afghani x NL, that I also vegged for 14 days, and put into flower and up-potted to 10L just yesterday. This got bigger in veg than the first one, but is the variegated/mutated pheno....should get big.....but nowhere near as branchy or yieldy as the other pheno. Still unsexed, so could be a short stay in the flower tent.
Revegging so far: 100%. Sweating not necessary
--- It's Moving Day
All 5 Cherryjuana will be promoted into flower today, and up-potted. Day 15 of veg for all but Subject D, who is one day behind.
Here they are a few minutes ago.....individual shots will be put in the album once it's all sorted.
mitch - welcome aboard. mate. Always something going on.
RD - too right on the spreadsheet - be lost without it.
That Afghani/NL has the taste of blonde lebanese hash like I used to get way back in the mid-80s. No hash-making here though, at least not until I've got a few full jars stashed away.
Some nice new hybrids you got in the Kennel.....I need to find something Nepalese to add to the arsenal here.
Hey mate,
I had a couple of plants with that wierd, looks-like-it's-getting-munched-by-an-insect business. Mine seemed to grow out of it when they started flowering.
Bring on the pistils...
Sod's law is that the plant in the biggest pot is the boy.....but it's freed up a bit of valuable real estate in the tent. Got a few more Deep Chunk hybrids in the tent waiting for bigger pots.
Methinks the other two will also be girls. Should know for certain in the next couple of days, but B, C and D are pretty much identical...so far.
On a side note......I've got this Thai that's been in the tent since the start of April....and I still don't know what sex it is. The preflowers are just little nubs....it's about 80cm now.....starting to get on my nerves lol. Just wish it would make up it's mind and let me know.....
Yeah, we cursed Subject A from the off. Still, like you say, the late showers are girls playing hard-to-get.
Show us your Thai mate.
Letter in the post tomorrow.
Peas.
I always had my doubts about A lol. Should have known better and used a little pot for the biggest plant. Still, all looking good, and the Borg seem to be pretty quiet recently.
Everyone's asleep at the moment.....this pic from a week or so ago. I'll snap a fresh one tomorrow.
The Thai looks great.....only place it's travelling is up, though!
5/4 is ace mate. You binned the male? How come no plans for F2s?
What's next for the chop?
Yeah, I might have to top the Thai....it's getting to be a troublesome height.
Very happy to get 4 girls out of 5. As for the male, I've already got one seed project on the go, and another in the veg stage, so I figured I'd just go for the sinse. Got enough beans still to play around at a future date. Got a Blue Chunk in the big pot he was using.
The Afghani/NL is next to be chopped, although I've been picking at it for quite a while now.....that NL/MS (wrapped around the cable) came down a while ago.....it finished up really quickly, but wasn't putting any weight on.....had lots of dead roots when I recycled the soil.....so I probably overwatered it. Smoke was OK.
Nice mate, I grew out skunk x thai and they grow huge and have really long fat colas with a very different taste and smell, but the is quite up high effect and you end up doing lots of jobs on it and unable to sleep for a few hours.
Hey SD.....Yeah...I'm hoping for something nice...could be a long while yet...if it's actually female. Tied it round the power cable now, gained a bit of time lol.
The Stud:
Super Silver Haze by Mr. Nice seeds. Might get some fairy dust off him tomorrow.
The Mother-To-Be:
(Lemon Thai x Deep Chunk) x (Northern Lights x Deep Chunk). Nice leaves - seems like the Lemon Thai is showing through.
Cherryjuana E. Day 11.....this girl is really growing well.....biggest pot and by far the biggest, most vigorous plant. And, no....it's not the plant on the left (A Chunky Cheese).
Two of the other three Cherryjuanas. These three are all very similar. I have to look at the labels to tell them apart.
