I read a post on another board that mentioned MG Organic is kinda notorius for bringing in fungus gnats. What's the general consensus from those that have ACTUALLY used it ? Thanks....KRLY
Krly
Its possible, I havent had any gnats so far but it isnt out of the question.
Mr Celcius!
I use tap water I only tested it once at the start, Ph 7.3 ppm 240-260 I dont remember the exact ppm but it was somewhere inbetween 240ppm and 260 ppm.
Blaze...I did alot more looking in my area and found the promix bx,are you familar with it and if so do you think it would work in place of the ultimate container mix you use? Also what size bags do you use for both types of soils.(cubic feet)Thanks.
Sorry for putting this post in your soil grow, but I noticed you haven't been over at PG for some time.
I am thinking of building a 24 plant system based on your DWC model. I was wondering if you had any advice with regards to modification. Would you just build a second system side by side? Or could you double everything using one res, one pump? If using one res, would the recommended pump be sufficient? Approximately how much do you think this system will cost (all the parts on your list times 2)?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Soil grow looks very nice. I too am shocked by the strictly water results.
Strictly speaking Pro mix B/X is not organic as there is some non-organic fertilizer added. I believe Sunshine mix 4 has no fertilizers added, if you were concerned with that.
Blazeoneup, does that mix need time,(water) to get the mix going before planting.Ive read somewhere you should wet the mix and keep it damp for a week or two to activate the blood meal,is this true? Thanks in advance,VERY nice grow;keep safe.
hello again blaze.. here are the girls at about day 24-28 in 12/12. not as nice as your plants at the same stage but hey its very nice. plus i'm fighting with the stupid mites, that never seem to leave me alone. I can't wait for day 60, or maybe longer
Ok guys I harvested today instead of tommorow, So no rushing to get the next round into the flower room, So harvest today and switch the next round over tommorow!
Bumboklot thanks, Im curious to see what you have up your sleeves this season
VhGhost looking great bro, Who needs to compare one garden to the next anyways. Keep on posting that grow of yours here, Its like another part of the thread, also a good illustration for others to see this mix works fine
