I read a post on another board that mentioned MG Organic is kinda notorius for bringing in fungus gnats. What's the general consensus from those that have ACTUALLY used it ? Thanks....KRLY

Man, you think to yourself, I really gotta ask this guy a couple questions, then when you get there... you forget :bashhead:

I meant to ask ya, whats the ph of your water and if you mean tap water or ro water; if tap water, whats your ppm?

I personally think that your mix kicks the Moonshine man mix's ass. His is eh looking and yours is just light years.

Its possible, I havent had any gnats so far but it isnt out of the question.

Mr Celcius!
I use tap water I only tested it once at the start, Ph 7.3 ppm 240-260 I dont remember the exact ppm but it was somewhere inbetween 240ppm and 260 ppm.

Hey Blaze,

Sorry for putting this post in your soil grow, but I noticed you haven't been over at PG for some time.

I am thinking of building a 24 plant system based on your DWC model. I was wondering if you had any advice with regards to modification. Would you just build a second system side by side? Or could you double everything using one res, one pump? If using one res, would the recommended pump be sufficient? Approximately how much do you think this system will cost (all the parts on your list times 2)?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Soil grow looks very nice. I too am shocked by the strictly water results.
Strictly speaking Pro mix B/X is not organic as there is some non-organic fertilizer added. I believe Sunshine mix 4 has no fertilizers added, if you were concerned with that.

Blazeoneup, does that mix need time,(water) to get the mix going before planting.Ive read somewhere you should wet the mix and keep it damp for a week or two to activate the blood meal,is this true? Thanks in advance,VERY nice grow;keep safe.
