Charles Scott, you are Reeferman? Who offers BSHW? Who competes with Bodhi for sales?

You say you're not doubting Bodhi's BSHB's authenticity but to me that's exactly what you are doing.
What about the looks of BSHB are not looking like Mexi x Affy?

I dont really think anyone much competes for sales. We all have our lists of breeders we will and wont buy from. Id buy from reef or bodhi, both have lots of neat stuff to check out.

Also reef said he thought bodhis line came from his? Implying thought so but not 100% so its really not a big deal man. Its not like he was dissing bodhi or shit man.

Understanding the narrow history of the strain will help you understand what I am saying , I honestly have made very little $ off BSHW Danbo was a Grower from California back in the overgrow days he had pictures and evidence that connected him all the way back to the Monk Parry who bred the Strain I think it was 1969 .
Danbo got in trouble and was going to Prison he needed $ to take care of his family etc so I purchased the BSHW from him along with some other genetics .
Very few people had access to BSHW I never sold very much of it at all I think it was only listed on the my old site for 6-8 months .
It still does not sell very well to this day , I just grew out and reproduced the strain from a narrow few seeds and multiplied them the picture I posted is our Mother selection and back in 04 and when I grew the BSHW in Mexico the plants all looked much the same .
My interest in learning about Bohdi;s line is not about $ or sales its about the preservation of a heritage strain and the potential of using Bohdi's strain to outcross the Danbo line to bring about vigor

I've grown damn near all commercially available BSHW lines and they're all diffrent IMHO... Bodhi's, reeferman, SoCal seed co, SnowHigh/ndn... I haven't tried coastals, but the ones listed all grow and smell diffrent.

The first time I smoked it, I immediately went online and looked to see where I could get the seeds from. It's that good. I've got 5 or 6 dispensary finds like that.

It's a strain I could see myself smoking a lot of, so growing is the only option. quality staple and all of that

Lemonhoko of Greenbeanz select cut (from RM's first release) has been my favorite of all the BSHW lines.…

however, I didn't care for the phenos i found in RM's most recent release (purchase through his newer site)…

Did Bodhi's come close, or was it left in the dust?

bodhi's had the most indy/sat hybrid look... very old school looking hybrid, 4 out of 5 females were stocky xmas tree plants with more narrow leafs… I did have one satty long internode pheno though… all females had nice/decent trich production, more of a muted earthy blue flavor, with one pheno having a light rose pedal water aroma….

Seems like a better line to add uniqueness in hybrids... I made a further fgen for friends to dig through, and also made a few crosses to find something special in the future.

Doc D, did you hit RM's BSHW with Bodhi's BSHB?
(I may have asked this before but my brain is a sieve

Reeferman's BSHW - Org. release - Lem/greenbeanz cut
edit: after chatting with Charles-Scott it's thought that the cut pictured may in fact be a Love Potion x BSHW or possibly Love Potion, but most likely not BSHW… great plant regardless. Thanks CS for the insight.

not the best comparison pics… but you get the idea that they're distinct and different.

I love the old-school resin profile of Reef's BSHW - like glass dust, no stalk on the resin glands

what's your guys thoughts on SAGE being part BSHW? is that a rumor or is there truth to that?

Adam Dunn said BSHW is how they made it. I heard him say it on his podcast.
I dont know if they used an Affy or Dunn's Mk-Ultra to hit BSHW

I would buy the fact that Adam used BSHW to breed Sage , the BGSW when cured has a sage aroma on some pheno's , I have not found it to have many Lemon type's I am kinda known for loving lemon smelling stuff and it shows in my most popular strains .
The Big Sir typically is a grassy old school strain that is a bit crude there are Special pheno's they are all very strong but they remind me of old School quality import .
