i put a downrigger on a sea kayak and went trolling for salmon once...hooked a pretty good size silver salmon which proceeded to drag me around the katchemak bay for almost 30 minutes...when i got the fish to the kayak i realized i had no net to land it...had to take the spray skirt off and bring the 11lb salmon into the cockpit...and it was not happy...when i paddled back to the dock i almost lost it when i threw it up onto the dock and it tried to flop it's way back into the water
Hooray for kayaks. I have been jonesing to get another one.

Hitler was GREAT FRIENDS with capitalists, like the Krupp family, who built loads of German factory machines for things like tanks and planes and artillery; like HENRY FORD, Hitler was a big admirer, had a big portrait of Ford in his office, and a framed letter from HENRY; like PRESCOTT BUSH, too, of PRESIDENT BUSH fame - who made sure the third reich’s telephone and banking service was top-notch. In addition, Hitler was a big provider of slave labor for capitalist industries throughout Germany and throughout the war...like Bayer, the aspirin folks; BASF, the tape folks; IG Farben, one of the richest and most powerful capitalist enterprises in Europe. *Before* the war, I mean.
He was also a big admirer of US Confederate slavery - his attempts to do what US slavers did - but in Africa - didn’t work out too well, but he accomplished the same purpose with the Jews, Romany, and the crippled: a truly commoditized worker, “work ‘em to death, we don’t care, we’ll just capture more!”

- What always made me think was - if Hitler wasn't a socialist - how come his political party was called 'The National Socialist Workers Party? ' and at it's inception and for many years he had prominent socialists in that party - till he went all dictatorial and killed 'em all in some night of the long knives? - did he suddenly have second thoughts - and decided that he wanted to be a fascist dictator instead - in the late 1920's-early 1930's? - so in effect becoming a dictator under the guise of socialism -
