I do agree with you that government controlled news would be horrendous but I have yet to see that this is what she is proposing.

I have some concurrence that the calling people on lying should be made more effective but how?

Look at how easily the willing public is manipulated;
As an example
1/ Repeat many times that the election will be rigged.
2/ Repeat many times the election was rigged; stolen
3/ Perform a pole amongst the willing public which shows a large percentage of the public believe the election was rigged; stolen
4/ Politicians repeat talking points that because a large percentage of the public believes the election was stolen we must investigate; challenge the election results. These are accompanied by a limited number of truths = some instances of actual fraud.
5 This further involves the willing public and validates the supposed fact.

This is cyclical affirmation, a well known and practiced method of training people to conform or believe in a cause. It is a tool of many religions, cults, cons, belief systems etc.

The same could be said for the Russia debacle.

Ok, When you get covid and you're in the hospital (before the roll you out by the reefer trailers) ask yourself why all the hospital workers are wearing masks and they aren't getting sick..

The only people not wearing masks that I see are homeless folks and crackheads, and they seem to be doing fine by the way.


The other day KPFA (pacifica radio) was trying to tell their listeners that the 'summer of love' riots did not have an impact on the spread of covid, but that the DC rioters, strategically infected everyone.
