I've said this before, but really don't get a Pax Ploom, unless you have extra money to throw away. I'm now calling my Pax " The One Bowl Wonder" because it will require charging before the next. It also burns more than it vapes.

Sorry to hear you don't like the Ploom. I really like mine.

Can't say I've ever had problems with burning. The battery can be a little short lived, but I usually get 3-4 full bowls before it needs a charge.

Have you contacted Pax? Sounds like the unit might not be working as it should?

I like arizer solo.

Scottish dude u r negative. I know u said your depressed. I have depression too. Best thing for you is to try to b more positive. Even if u dont really feel like it or r even able to form a positive thought. Just start thinking positive. The world will look so much more inviting:)

You're right! I appreciate you calling me out on that. I'm working on being more positive, but talk is cheap. All that said, the PAX still sucks.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Arizer Solo.

Its out of warranty. How long have you had yours? I've had mine almost a year. Probably have about 60 sessions with it.

Thanks for your input.

my dad liked his ploom ok, mostly bc of its size.

sadly it died on him less than 6 months in.

He likes the Solo for hits and taste, but for him, its too fragile. He cant mess with glass really lol

Solo is the best bang for the buck BY FAR in my opinion. It is a wonderful little unit.

I've had mine for over 2 years now. I had an issue the 2nd week after I bought it, shipped it back to Pax, they sent me a new unit a few days later. Haven't had any issues ever since. Actually, I bought one as a gift for a family member who loved mine.

I think they have a 10 year warranty, but I may be mistaken. I'm wondering, is your temperature setting on medium or high? I switched mine to medium a long time ago and prefer it. Vapes just as well and better battery life. Might help with your burning and battery life.

Another suggestion is when packing the bowl. If it's all flowers, pack it tight and like a brick. However, I prefer to lay a thin layer of flowers, then a nice fat layer of bubble hash/kief/etc, then a thin layer of flowers on top....packed a bit after.

Good luck with it!

Howdy folks! :tiphat:

The time is come to buy myself a vape for diffrent herbs like rosemarine, marjoram, etc...

Im looking for something portable with high quality, regarding price, up to 500€ is no problem...

As i see, many of you, say the Arizer Solo is the way to go...so maybe that... While browsing the internet yesterday, i came along MiniVAP Portable (i think its 469€), its not really mini lol, but if its the quality high, no problem...any of you ICMag-ers tried it, or have some opinion on it?

Is there any other vap that i should consider buying in that price range?

Or is the best option to buy Vulcano for home, and something like IOLITE WISPR2 (or you think i should ad those 80€ and buy Arizer Solo instead of IOLITE) for hiking around?

I would really appreciate any good response... Thanks! :wahey:

BANG?? Like getting fucced?

LOL, no! Like best u can get for that money... :D

I've tried a few Iolites found that they were nowhere near as good as the Airizer Solo.

Build, performance, battery life, design, reliability, maintenance - Solo Wins on all these points for me!

Oh yeah I've get a spare Solo, Love mine so much, I had to get a backup unit just in case.

A few of my friends have bought them now having tried mine, even really tight ones who I'd never of though would shell out GBP150

You can get Glass on glass adapters which fit the Solo to 14mm or 18mm bong downtube, if you've got any glass already then this is a great accessory.

I've SEEN them listed, but they have been sold out everywhere I've seen. I'm going have someone blow one if I can't find one on-line

As a long-time smoker, I decided to try vaping and researched the hell out of different models. I settled on Airizer Solo and couldn't be happier. I was a little displeased when the plastic around one of the bottom screws but it does not affect function and the unit remains stable. I am particularly pleased with the battery life and ease of cleaning. I love the flavor and get very satisfying smoke. Nothing beat the economy of product either. My weed lasts so much longer now, its not even funny.

A solo and a ground glass adapter could change the game for MANY MANY people.

Not working!!! but you you can find videos of this on you tube if you just search. I've been a weeder since '76 and had heard the theories of vaping since the beginning, but it's just now that the reality is catching up with the hype... but it IS catching up NOW. Enjoy :tiphat:

I have heard of this before. .. what is the purpose of this? To run the vaporizer through a water pipe? Why would you do this? I find that my throat has not problems with the vaporizer.. at least nowhere near as bad as it used to be, smoking
