best strains these days

The cost isnt so much in making the seed, as it is in selecting the parents. Most crosses dont surpass the parents. Im sure its easy to just cross two strains, but its harder to get reaonable seed, let alone unique seed from them. There is also scale, you need a lot of room, but there is not the same market as say tomato seeds.

ndoor strains..
1) Trainwreck (ok, average to below average yeilder... but probably the most unique flavor/stone/potency I have tried... again and again)
2) Trainwreck
3) Granddaddy Purple
4) Granddaddy Purple
5) Purple Erkle
6) Pot of Gold Skunk#1 X Hindu Kush, hella good.

Outdoor strains..
1) Mexican, Thai, or African Sativas... Why grow indica outdoors?? Grow something that won't grow indoors, and something that has vastly different genetics!! I find Sativas outdoors to be HUGE yeilders, more than any indica EVER!!! :)

Taller plants = more sun, more branches, more bud
When light is free and infinite, why not!?

yeah i made the mistake of growing an indica outdoors, and yeilds suffered! i agree w/ you neptune, grow a sativa dom plant outdoors! it will yeild way more. i put a almost pure indica outdoors, and it just stayed pretty small(shrub). while others grew big. oh'well you learn new things every day!! I think a 80/20, sativa/indica ratio would be good out doors. but lets say maybe any thing below a 50/50 sativa ratio would be too much indica, and would start to lack on yeild. but if you have security issuses than and pure indica would be pretty easy to hide outdoors. sorry kinda of topic, opps!

yeas and that why i ask, i see and have seen alot of so called breeders, just make a few crosses, slap a name on them and sell them and make there profit. reguardless of all the crappy breeders making cash off , there still are a few breeders out there trying to make a better marijuana plant.guys like djshorts or breeder steve, i dont have a issue forking over the 100 dollars per pack. for those guys spending years to make a viable plant they deserve all the reward, but doing some simple crosses wont get my cash.

anyways thanks everyone i think i narrowed the beans down to a few picks.

Um those simple crosses are made with heirloom strains. If you had any heirloom strains you wouldnt be asking about seeds.

Probably havent smoked any of these hybrids have you? probably not...dont be so close minded

How many times has the way you percieve things completely changed due to one thing or another?
