we on this site are hobby growers/ hobby breeders...and have fun w/ available genetics and friendly trades w/ other hobby breeders/growers.

this keeps us generally out of the criminal drug trade ...other than growing our own..and hording it to ourselves and sharing w/ peeps on here....and close friends and family.

people you "get to know" online are not your friends or family!...please wake up and get real...99% of them would give you up in about two seconds if a cop said "it's jail or give me some names"

anyone who trades clones or seeds from contacts made online here or anywhere is an accident waiting to happen and on the contrary dreaded one, it will bring you closer to the criminal trade (esp when you share a cell with them!)...if you feel you just have to get your genes from unknown posters (because they sound soooo good and you just have to have them! lol) then make sure you have a bulletproof safe address and do not let any of your personal info out that can be used against you......

but before you do that, invest $20 bucks in a packet of Nirvana Seeds Ak or JH, grow them out first then consider the risk of making contact with complete strangers.

I feel much safer knowing I get my seeds from a seed bank like seedboutique....call me paranoid but I wouldn't let most posters here know the country I lived in..let alone the suburb! ..no offence, it's just I don't know you and until then I'll buy my seeds from reasonably priced professionals.....

how many times have you heard people mouthing off at high volume to others who shouldn't be hearing about some guy who sold them pot..sheesh!..now imagine how they would give a shit about some online "friend".............keep in mind at all times : no one is more concerned about your security than yourself...and once personal information has been told, it cannot be taken back

deal with the pros and be sure of getting what you want (which are proven genes and good service with zero risk)...not with some wannabe seed hacking, turbo posting teenage pollen chucker who probably hasn't got a clue about the untested polywannahybrid crap they are spruiking, doesn't give two hoots about your security and is trying to make a name for his lonely self.

my advice is spend $20 ~ $60 and get exactly what you want delivered professionly to a safe address and you will sleep better at night...( and probably get higher too !)

as for those who want to meet other posters ...hmmm that's just creepy.....if you wanna meet other members, then my advice is to do it in Amsterdam at Gypsy's Seed Boutique and then go coffee shop hopping from there!..but then again, I live in a country that has Singaporean penalties for ganja, so you can understand I'm less than keen to meet up or give you my address!

RANT - Does anyone remeber paying $150 for a half ounce? I do. I sure as hell have no problem paying that, in trade for seeds that give me the obility to prroduce endless amounts of quality ganja. $20 gram!!! INSANE!, Seeds are priceless.

spice of life has a few new strains at hemp depot sound like they could be interesting.

For price Mandela 's strains can't be beat. I grew sator,kalichakra and white satin and was impressed. for under 20 buck its a deal. they all had hybrid vigor and stability. I did not make moms of the sator or kali and wish I did.

um ...find yer self sum BH from SOL ...they are about.

Bh wont generally stretch in flower...and tolerance wont increase by indulgence...its that strong.

rip-offs of AK47? sweettooth,blockhead?(sweettooth in there?),nycd,ecsd?(nycd in there?),grapefruit,c99,wallyduck,etc... if I'm wrong, fine, correct me...if I'm right I'lll stick w/ the original...AK47... I can see why people would want to rip it off. Doc Chronic...out of stock of AK47 for a while...finally gets it back in stock...sells out again within 2 weeks...WOW... puts above his listing of AK47 not only OUT OF STOCK...but also, back by mid-August(laughing)...dude knows he sold out FAST this time...

Hey Yukon...I grew out Blockhead too....I'm glad you had good results with it...I thought it was average in most regards, but then again I grew with about 5 or 6 other new strains at the same time and it didn't stand out in my opinion...but I guess that's why it's good to have so many different varietys out there so all can have a fave!

If you want some fabulous genetics, and not some recycled F14's, I would check out Mr. Wags grow diary and Femaleseeds co. (Femaleseeds.nl) I highly recommend their Ice (it's the real ice, not some knock off), Grapefruit and Skunk Special.

Even newbies are growing monster picturesque buds. That says alot about their genetics.

And for novelty purposes, somablazes blackberry genetics have been making the rounds in some breeders beans, displaying some dazzling purples that make your mouth water. Little hard to find, but they're out and about. (Grandaddy purple, etc..)

Like you, I've recently came back into the "loop" and am finishing up a femaleseeds grow that have my eyes popping at the quality. They're definately the real deal.
Also, a few grow friends of mine are having excellent luck with reefermans genetics. I may look into them next. I will always keep some FST plants in my garden however.

i agree, seed's are mostly overpriced to an obsurd amount. you could say it's because of risk. but even in amsterdam where pot is legal along with selling seed's. the prices of a pack of bean's dont change at all. i can understand some strain's being special and all. but i see alot of seed's for sale that are mere hybrid's that anyone could make, selling for crazy prices. so my question is. why isnt weed selling for a couple dollar's a gram in amsterdam? why are'nt seed's being sold in pack's of a hundred for 80 dollars instead of 10?

2) as for fresh genetics take a look at Growdoc Seeds :wink:
(uploads in my gallery can be used as a rough guide to viability and quality,,, when contrasted against any of the other strains in there GDS compete on price and result,,, in fact GDS sit a notch or two above many of the rest.)

if seed prices are the reflection of potential risk, then a packet of seeds sold in Holland could be $10 a pack, $20 in the UK and $60 in Sweden while the same seeds could be $150 in the US

..does this mean that seed sellers may begin structuring their retail pricing according to the risk/destination where the seeds are mailed to?

I like that idea...cos why should I pay for American's risk in my seed pricing if I buy my seeds from across the counter in Gypsy's shop in Amsterdam?
