BEST GUARD DOG?

We had a Neopolitan mastiff that my dad rescued from a society that rehoused fighting dogs in the bay area. He had his ears and tail docked, was purebread and fucking huge. We were living rural in Northern California and after getting the dog, we had estimated meter reads for about 6 months. I'd seen him take a very large hog down on its own. Even cost my dad a fair bit of coin when it showed up, all proud, with a dead calf...

If I were wanting a very intimidating looking dog I'd go for one of those, a doberman, and rottweiler.
