Glad to hear everyone's home safe.....
Especially Bear....last time I saw him...he was heading down the road to the major highway. Was concerned about him getting back in time and in one piece.
Cella, maybe you can take a warm, moist towel and wrap the dog's paw....I know if his joints are rheumatic...the cold can make him feel like crapola. Something gentle and non-invasive may help him get over the hump. Of course take him to the vet to see what the scoop is. Quite possibly he was over-excited by all the new peeps and his paw took a bit much on.
Glad to see you brotha...glad to see everyone at the dormacile! Looking forward already to the next blast.

yeah, access, I think it may be a bit more than just wrapping his paw unfortunately. His arthritis had his whole body muscle spasm-ing pretty bad. Combine that with the fact he can't stand up and go outside to empty his bladder, and that makes for one hurtin puppers.. It isnt the first time he's been carried upstairs and outside to do his business and he hates it, considerring he weighs in at just over 90lbs.
The fish oil pills and aspirin will only work for so long before the vet prescribes something stronger and stronger, and ultimately, "the needle". ...damnit all anyway.

I'm looking forward to it too!

Those of us who were on the ball and bought online right as the sale started have yet to get tickets (nobody)...I'm sure those tickets will come in, but I got such a good deal on these ...Stupid I know but I have a backup plan for these tickets....I teach a real cool, smart kid that is into all the jam bands, goes to see some of them, and is the kid savvy enough to figure out I'm the pothead teacher but wise enough to leave it alone.....He wanted to go but was under the impression that he couldn't afford dead tickets (already spoke to his parent's and they love me so they're cool)....Assuming the tickets I already ordered come in, he may possibly end up the first hippie kid in history to get miracled a pair of dead tickets from his teacher.... It will of course come with instructions...."you're on your own....if you see me, turn around and walk the other way....."


So here's our worst case scenario! Section 420!!!!!!

Hehe..and just got something new in to "pimp out" the old ride for the show....Under a month to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, Bear, just got back from the vet. Turns out his lyme is acting up again. He was limping really bad today too, and thats when I decided to bring him. The vet gave him a script for doxycycline, which is free at a local grocery here. ..too bad the vet bill wasn't..178 dollars..

Lyme sucks. It's both rheumatological and neurological problems unfortunately. Lame. Poor doggy. Hopefully that whiz-bang prescription gives relief.

BB: Great time wit'cha brotha. Couldn't think of a better companion for the long ride up. Prolly only one thing could have made it better: a joint for the halfway point. LOL. Next time we'll get it all savvy.
