Yeah ive still got some but soon ill have something a lot better... and plenty of em aswell. Watch this space.
My whole outdoor grow is for pips and hash so it'll be beans a'plenty soon enough, i just gotta cut n clone the last BOG male before he drops his dust. Theres a couple of Lifesaver males out in the garden with them so im hoping for a lot of pips lol..

Sorry I've taken an age to reply, I've barely had the time to check my CP for updates let alone post.. But its great to hear your back on the scene, i did wonder why you hadn't posted for a while lol. Sounds to me like your gonna have a effin-tastic Xmas, lol.
(Long overdue)Update...
Well, i'm not going to go into details so ill be brief.. After high temps and dry conditions through the last few weeks of the summer, which also made it perfect for the Red spider-Borg to munch away, get fat and have baby's.. Also because of things outside the garden reluctantly taking priority, I've let things slip. Ive lost my Lifesaver male, and havent got as many beans as id hoped and only very few to share this time around. The crosses i planed to make with all 3 of the Floater phenotypes (and also LS F2's), haven't given me enough seeds to select a male and a female from each cross. But i do have a minimal amount from the green pheno and even fewer from the others, so the project has taken a new direction.
Instead of breeding 3 different lines from the initial crosses, i plan to select some males from the FLxLS pips and then BX to the original parents A(Sativa) & B(Indica). This is because the Green phenotype Floater isn't what i want the end product to be anything like, but i think because the parents are poly-hybrids this pheno will not breed true its own traits. Throughout the Floater pheno's Ive seen this time around, it seems like the JC resin profile(lemon taste and smell, whirling head high even in the indica pheno) is dominant(correct me if I'm wrong) and because the FL and LS both share the same parent strain, i hope this means that it will breed true.
Having smoke tested the indica and sativa FL phenotypes, Ive decided to do separate lines for both indica and sativa. I adore a real racy and trippy head high, but i also like the body high of the indica side of the spectrum. All the females from all the Floater and Lifesaver phenotypes Ive tasted, the head high is the same in both the LS female and the FL phenos. It can only be described as a whirling head buzz, like a small tornado inside your head and mind. The high from the FL indica is borderline my perfect high for an indica, and the Sativa pheno is more my thing but i'm not sure because the smoke Ive had was still fresh. Saying that, my opinion will only get better judging by the lineage and the little buds that Ive tested so far.
My hands hurt and my fingers are numb, and i can only blame the Floater sativa i'm puffing on.. This is the most typing Ive done for months lol, call it a side effect of the high.
Nuff' said..
Keep it green peeps.. :smoking:
(Ive got some pics i'm gonna post tomorrow, watch this space)
Update..
Heres some pics from outdoors, i took them on friday i think..
^^Floater pheno B, i chopped a few immature nugs the other day and for early bud its not bad.. just not as tasty as finished chuff, obviously.. the high is also good, heady but not long lasting when smoked in a blunt.
^^A root shot of FL'B, sturdy as hell.
^^ Two lemonade haze palnts showing the early signs of female flowers, only the onset of frost determines whether or not the hermie traits will show naturaly..(they have a pretty good life free of stress, if not a bit close together.)
So, its nearing the end of the outdoor season and Jack Frost is on his way..
Its nicer inside though, a warm 70-80*F and the plants are happy. The mites are slowly becoming extinct, and theres some predetor bugs on the way so i think they are as good as dead lol. I want to get rid of the borg before i flip the lights, a trouble free bloom period is what im shooting for. moon: @ mites!!)
The worm castings, soil and reflective sheeting have arrived and ive put the shiny up. The well fertilised soil the plants are in will do until atleast mid flower i think, apart from Al-g-mic all they get is water. Later on ill be feeding them organic tea made from castings and guano, and probably not much else..but we shall see.
Now, the pics..
^^Lifesaver phenoF canopy shot..
^^The cab shot, Floater pheno's A+B, a single Floater seedplant from the same seedstock and of course the Lifesaver..
Ok.. its now 27days of 12/12.
The FL sativa is starting to smell fruity, and the resin is thin but its visible. The FL indica's are at the stage where they smell like toy soldiers and lemon(the most resinous at this stage) and the Lifesavers are packing on resin, and slowly the flowers are growing in number.
The clones rooted(exept the FL phenoB's) and they are all growing like weeds in my vegbox, the new addition is a replacement of the FLindica with an identical pheno.
^^Tomorow the flowering plants will get some tea, made with castings, guano, seaweed juice and a teaspoon of pre-mix for added bacteria.
The Lemonade Haze plants are nearly finished lol, and im gonna chop tomorow.. probably a few G's of smokable flowers but hey..they survived alone untill the festive season lol(without hermyfying).. sweet.
The nights are getting colder, the shops are manic with people rushing to get presents...the pubs and resturants are full of christmas office parties, spirits are on a high. Its that time of year again, can you feeel the Christmas spirit ?? lol
^^ The plants are really begining to smell now, not as much as some varieties but its noticable..time to think about fitting that carbon filter...just need to think how to hold it up lol....
The buds are getting fatter by the day, and if my pics were of better quality you'd be able to see the resin.. the Floater indica's are almost white, a lot more resinous than the first run(this pheno is nearly a year old now.)
The Lifesaver's arent doing as well as the first run, she seems to be more sensitive to PH fluctuations than the FL..(in the bottom right of the pic you can see the brown patch at the base of the fan leaf, and the burnt bud leaves.) The Floater sativa's are going strong, she looks like she can pull off a large top cola, at least i hope so anyway lol...
Apart from the aftermath of a very low PH water for a week and a few bugs(im unleashing the buzz off spray on dem bitches, seems to be working..) all is well, roll on Christmas!!
