Found some old photos from 2004-05

Lemonade Haze as it was nicknamed was a tall probably pure sativa, during veg she had a cinnamon smell for a while if you rubbed the stem. During late flower she took on a faint lemon/citrus smell, after drying/cure the smell of lemons was almost enough to make your nose tingle.
She only yeilded a shy OZ of leafy, fluffy buds that you could see through.
No matter what we did she would never finnish, the longst we counted was 116 days before we chopped her, with only 25-30% brown hairs.

The high was an intense head pounding experiance, i found myself staring at walls after hitting the bong lol.. Not the most potent but she could have gone months i think.. like 180days flower.

'ThaiSkunk' was another plant that we toyed with before the discovery of OG. It was a dark green mostly sativa with a peppery smell and lemon resins.
A natural hermafrodite, never really smoked any of this herb but it did pollonate almost everything in varying degrees..

Update

Observations of Outdoor '06.

^^ Floater Pheno A..
I presume she leans towards the JCB side, 7 bladed leaf(same shape as LS sativa). Purple leaf stems, purple stripes on main stems. Faint smell in veg, sweet and fruity smell when you rub the stem. Develops Mg def. if PH is not bang on. She shows sex very late in veg.

^^Floater pheno B..
5-7 bladed leaf. Purple stems throughout. Short to medium leaf stems. Savoury lemon smell when you rub the stem. Medium smell in veg.

^^ Floater pheno E..
Mutated leaves(1/2 of plant has rough leaves like lizard skin, also had a 2" wide flat stem bu it snapped early in veg). 9 bladed leaves on mutated side and 5 bladed leaves on the side that is normal. Green stems throughout. Not much smell in veg.

^^Pheno B

^^Pheno B macro (not in focus i know but i was trying it through a stamp collector's loupe).

Hey dude..

Hey dude..

Yeah she smells real nice when you give her a squeeze...
a bit like fruit bubblegum.. mmm... lol..

Lifesaver..

She certainly packs on the weight aswell,
i think that she would perform great in a SOG.
Deffinatly a commercial yeilder,
i dont know the exact weight but she makes for a fat cola with no veg time.

Floater...

The Floater indica on the other hand isnt a yeilder at all, ive been told the smoke makes up for it.. we shall see.
Im hoping that crossing her with a Lifesaver male, might up the yeild while keeping the desired traits.
You cant really see in the pics but shes turning a nice shade of purple, with some really deep blackcurrant stripes on the flowers.

^^ The next load of clones have been put into flower, another pheno of Floater is included this time..

^^ Here you can see that the Lifesaver stays small and is basically a fat cola on a stick.

^^ Lifesaver staminate flowers, as soon as he drops his dust ill be pollinating the Floater and Lifesaver clones in the small pots. Also maybe the pre-flowers of the plants outside(just for shits n giggles..)

Peace n flowers..

hello bean :joint:
mine did not yield all that great but then again mine was pretty much a "BOAS" grow with her, but damn the bud smelled so nice and the stone was very good......even the flovor held true to the bud once it was dry, i have no more beans but she was a very memrable(sp) plant for sure....

ya i think that cross would work well, perhaps a sog grow would be in order for those new seeds??......
looking great bro :joint:

Outdoor '06..

Outdoor '06..

^^ Bubblegum seedplant, presumed to be male.. either way im happy, great growth structure.

^^ Lifesaver sativa, she's starting to get real bushy.

^^ Floater sativa seed-plant, she bounced back nicely after being cooked earlyer on.

^^ Floater green pheno, she's turning out to be a great plant.. I had my doubts in the begining, she was a mutated runt that scrubbed up nicely.

^^ Floater Sativa and Indica pheno's side by side for comparison, the sativa on the left was topped early on.. notice the difference in height compared to the indica clone on the right.

^^ Floater indica pheno.

^^ Lemonade haze seedlings under test conditions. (Straight into barren soil, no water or food. Also shaded most of the day.)

Jaws, thanks man.. Im glad you enjoyed her, Lifesaver seems to have a wide variety of dank pheno's. I think the F2 generation is going to be a party waiting to happen, be looking out for those JCB reccesive traits. All the females that i like are going to be put through a SOG, flowered small just to guage yeild in comparison. Also for independent smoke testing, im gonna need the spare nuggy's to throw about.. Be safe man.

Keep it green.. :joint:

Really nice outdoor shots BeAn! They're lovin it for sure! That lifesaver sativa pheno looks choice and very happy to be out in the fresh air. I like your idea to run a sog to gauge yield - will have to try that the next run on her beans.

Keepin an eye out on the lemonhaze test -

Keep it green indeed! :yummy:

MrGreenJeans, Thanks for the kind words dude, the weather has been great so far.. they're growing by the hour it seems. If you want to compare pheno's, put some clones in as soon as they root, give them the same conditions(or as close as) and compare the end yeild. That way its a fair representation.

Update..
Harvested the Floater pheno B(indica) clone a few minutes ago, at 60days she smells lush.. a bit like plastic lol, but with sweet undertones... never smelt gear like it, not your typical skunk smell that's for sure. Ill post some nuggy shots tomorrow, the ones i took weren't in focus.

Also Ive planted 5 Floater and 2 SaxonAxe pips into root-riot cubes, and they're sitting on my modem till they hatch. Looking for a good couple of Floater males to use in crosses, and to carry on this line. The Saxe on the other hand, I be hoping for a couple of da-dank girlie's to call my own. A massive thank you and a big ol' chunk of karma goes out to the brethren, who gifted me with these beans.. you knowsa who you are.

Be safe, and stay frosty...

Just smoked the lower buds of of the Floater indica clone, still green but dry enough to smoke.. They were almost dry in the drying box but i finished them up on the boiler, not a great represntation of the pheno but it'll do for now.
Now for the toke, got a real hazey taste to it with lemon coming through in the resins. The bud when whole just smells green, but when cut up you get a waft of lemony goodness(me tinks thats the JC coming through).

I dont think this one will be in the curing jar that long, but ill post a proper smoke report when its had a little cure. I didnt yeild much from a clone, a mere few g's.

watch this space.

Damn fine growing Bean! Well done. I've got a lifesaver lady growing right now, showing the same characteristics as yours, big leaves, stretchy internodal spacing... an overall JUMBO plant. The leaves have a blueish tinge around the edges, then forest green, then emerald and finally light green. Beautiful plants. When the stem is rubbed there is a 'grape soda' type aroma. Very pleasant.
