Are you trying to keep your plants out of the public's view bc of law as in CO, or are you trying to avoid potential rippers? I'm just curious about the black and white poly hanging up. Lookin killer in any case! Looks like it's about that time. I'm interested to see how these fast versions I'm working on will turn out.
Looking like an epic finish dank! That killer may be the 45th's sweet spot. Glad you took some clones!
We used to keep track of our strains with numbers and letters. Some of those crosses would look like a physics problem! From my experience the s2 should hold potency and retain all those lovely genetic traits, as well as help stabilize the strain. Maybe x the Mickey too, but it's like shuffling a deck of cards to me. You have to shuffle a lot of times to get a great hand.
Stabilizing a strain like the killer could be the bread n butter for this area after Oct. 1 when I figure demand will go through the roof around here. A solid local performer like that could help a lot of people.
But if it was me, I wouldn't be able to resist trying both!
After some thought, I think you could really help the area by making this strain available to other local growers, keeping it vigorous, and finding crosses that enhance its already favorable characteristics.
Nepal Jam from Ace Seeds looks like a good candidate. Excellent mold, spider mite, and botritis immunities, along with great cold resistance would seem to make it an ideal cross to keep vigor up in a sativa in our latitude. It's also listed as a late September/ early October finish.
I am planning on giving this one a shot indoors and will report my experience in the forum.
Oh Mickey you're so fine! Geese, did I just say that? Lol
