I agree that if you have no evidence for him still being an active police officer, you have nothing really but speculation and social stigma. It's completely possible he's changed or seen the error in his ways. It is completely possible for a person (even a cop -- surprise) to change. Saying a policeman is always a policeman (even after they've quit their job) is a blanket statement that will never be true all the time. I'm not arguing whether he's a narc or anything like that, I'm just saying that, to me, he seems like a marketing tool - the latest pot rebel with a story to come out publicly. Hell, I bet there are a lot of cops out there who don't give a shit about a few plants or a quarter bag of weed but a lot of times they do what they have to do to keep a job. I respect the police for a lot of things they do but the problem here is a level higher than the police -- a governmental policy level. This is what we must focus on whilst avoiding the police. They just follow orders. There are crooked cops and there are asshole, egotistical cops but there are people like that in all positions over the entire world. Bottom line for me: I don't think he's necessarily a narc or informant but then again I'm not going to just trust every word that comes out of his mouth. He seems so wrapped up in advertising, expos, endorsements, money, magazines, etc. that he just more or less feels fake to me. Hopefully he'll actually become politically active (other than just claim he's running for Congress.) I want to see him spearheading and organizing movements to people he's told his story to or doing something other than repeating over and over how to hide your weed. We'll see, I suppose, how devoted to the cause he is.
