Indoors I turn off the fan, wait an hour of two, spray the plants down, and then turn the fan back on again. Can't really do that outdoors but maybe doing it on a day with little wind and doing the spraydown could still work. I use a small paintbrush mainly, also used Q-tips sometimes.
Same here, but I only wait 25 to 30 minutes after applying pollen (diluted at roughly 1 part pollen to 3 parts sterilised plain flour) with a paintbrush before spraying down with water, which I like to adjust PH to around 6.0 - 6.2 to mimic rainwater.

I forgot to adjust the PH of my water last time and at 6.8 it burnt quite a few of the stigma on one of four plants in particular and with one or two others being not so badly damaged. Just one plant suffered no effects at all.

Peace

Our giant outdoor girl is getting closer! We are looking to harvest November 12. It's been a very wet Autumn here in upstate New York, and looks like it will continue to be. Humidity has been an issue for us. Even with 2 industrial fans, a space heater, and dehumidifier.

Back inside, we have our last 7 seeds going strong. None of them are showing the long, thin, dainty leaf blades with chlorosis that signify the outdoor pheno; but I've been running clones of it for so long, I can't remember if it's a trait that shows up after sexual maturity... Looking for a nice indoor pheno like we had this time last year!

hello good afternoon, this season was terrifying 14 small seedlings were destroyed by a plague of Pythium fungus, only one bangi haze survived, this bangi haze was germinated on August 1, now it is around the 7th and 8th week of very fast flowering and very early when it comes to showing resin, last year I had two bangi haze and this one is different from last year's two in structure and smell, the smell is much more like lemon there are no vegetables or onions or basil although this individual of vegetables and I loved basil, these bangi haze are very delicious I loved this variety so lemonade can not be missing in my crop, finally all the tips of the flowers end in arrowheads, but there is a branch that is different from all the others and it is totally round without ending in an arrowhead. Cheers

hello again, here my bangi haze germinated on August 1. Doing some research because of the rarity of my bangi haze flower, it turns out I have a possible polyploid marijuana flower, I had to tie the plant due to the weight of this branch since the plant was inclined due to the weight, the smell of the plant is very Sour lemon more than its sisters that I put last year, the flowers are getting quite fat😃

All the best for the last 10 days of flowering on your greenhouse grown Bangi Haze @Glorn2 (y)
Best wishes also with the new indoor selection from seed!

Great looking, good yielding and resinous pheno @El Quijote ! A pleasure to see you flowering Bangi Haze again this season ;) Usually the lemony scented Bangi Hazes are closer to BH 25 parent plant and are the strongest ones in potency and with highest THC content currently in the line.

It's not the first time i've heard this year that someone loses plants due to a rare fungus in the roots, i have heard it from different growers growing different genetics in different conditions so there must be some kind of fungus illness in the roots hitting stronger this year.

A healthy root system that is not root bound, growing in symbiosis with mycorhizes would help to prevent such type of root illness.

The top bud with a strange shape is showing fasciation. As other correctly pointed out, to know whether a plant is polyploid or not you need to check the chromosomes, it's not something observable with the naked eye.

hello @dubi thank you very much, the truth is that to germinate it in August it is very beautiful, leafy and productive, very resinous and fast, it has a smell of pure acid lemon I am glad to know that I surely have a bangi haze phenotype 25😊

I have a possible theory of the Pythium Fungus that some batch of soil I composed or some batch of earthworm humus was in poor condition, or poorly preserved, this exaggerated never happened to me, since I am very meticulous and I disinfect everything with bleach, even the floor from the cultivation area, the seedlings were treated with neem oil, potassium soap and propolis and even so they all died, also the very high temperatures and strong humidity did not help either.

I don't know if it is polyploid, but what I do know is that this branch is more productive and weighs more than the other branches, besides being a very pretty flower visually, the leaf ratio is higher but it has a little more resin, which is It is true that it is very funny and beautiful to see this in a flower😃

Hi all!
Does anybody know what Generation the current Bangi Haze sales are?
It was a F4 or F6 in 2006 when the thread started.
As it looks it's still quite te same as 2006 - that beautiful columnar type of sativa.

11 months! It has been a fun ride. We could have gone a couple more weeks with her, but with the holiday coming up, we wouldn't have the window for an emergency chop if needed.

My best guess is a 6lb yield, after dry/trim. We snipped off anything that wasn't gonna be an easy trim and put it in the larf box. Prolly 10lbs total. We also let this pheno die off, after 5 runs of it. The last 2 are flowering indoors right now.

I've got some PanamaXMalawi phenos going now, and think I've decided which one to grow outdoors next year. Check over there in about 6 months to see how we are making out!

Holy shit @Glorn2 what a beast! 👍

Hows she smell? Im surprised more people haven't mentioned it but mannn Bangi can be extremely stiiiinky!

Im gonna chop mine in about a wk and it just reeks! Only my second time running this cut but shes definitely more stinky then last time. Even if I don’t touch anything in the room the funk just attaches to my clothes/hair/everything for a bit lol!

Im also noticing some fruity notes starting to come through this time, just in the last wk or so.

Overall to me the smell is quite skunky, but kinda sweet, with hints of chopped onions/garlic/shallots, citrus fruits (lemon pledge!), licorice/anise, and now some mild but pleasant berry aromas.

Just another wk to go! 😋

I have run a few different phenos of it, and they have all been a mixture of lemon and cat piss., about 80/20. You can imagine with the size of that plant... You could smell it 100 yard away. Luckily most of the neighbors around here grow and have been cheering us on, instead of calling the cops. A good cure gets rid cat piss under-tones, and the scent becomes a deeper citrus, almost a hint of orange. I really enjoy the scent, it sits high in the nose, and can easily overpower the scent of earthier strains (If you are sniffing a bunch of samples).

Haha right on man. Yea i can only imagine how much that beast musta smelled. 😋

I deff agree on the catpissy odours tho hehe.

And yea it certainly can overpower other strains. I had a pinhole on the lid of a jar and it stunk up my whole jar closet.

Even the vac sealed stuff in my deep freezer somehow gives off an occasional whiff. 😀
