Hey tb, these plants are obviously hungery for some reason or another. I can read a happy plant pretty well. It may be due to the unusualy hot, dry summer- I think you might be on to something. On the 2 larger ones there are a few big branches that are recovering and greening up/ not burning while the other 3/4 of the plant is sad.

Oh and I edited my previous post to you before noticeing you had posted, incase you didnt see.

VK,

I'm at about 42 N, which may account for most of the flowering time differences. I also think that low nitrogen makes them start just a bit earlier and ripen just a bit quicker, all other things being the same.

If some of the plant branches looks healthy, and some not, I'd look carefully along the stalk for a mold infection, again possibly from watering too much or too often.

I am simply speculating, without knowing much, so take it all with a grain of salt, so to speak. If anything rings a bell with you, you can investigate or experiment.

That was the first thing I checked. I was just kindof thinking out loud, wasnt really expecting to figure it out with such a small amount of info about the girls, just figured it was relavant to what you guys were experiencing.

Heres a pic of the sad bangi. The tip burn is from a little too strong of a foliar feed, trying to correct what I thought was a N dif. Not sure what the taco leafs are from.

Not sure why it's sideways, oh well.

Hi ValleyKush,

I think she was burned by the foliar spray and there's a nutrient unbalance (most probably due overfeeding lately) or probably a combination of both.

Bangi Haze end of August

One of my favourite Bangi Haze mother, selected for its excellent growing traits, vigor, aromas, potency and effect.

This year all the strains are a bit delayed with the flowering outdoors.

The Bangi is looking great dubi. What latitude is this one grown at?
Any guess as to why strains are starting flower later this year?
What strains are furthest ahead in flowering for you right now?
Peace GG

Hi gorilla ganja,

As Cannabisso pointed out, we have had here extremely hot waves from late May until late August. I think this is one of the reason that delayed a bit the flowering of most of the strains, there are other factors like planting date, moon phases, previous state of the clones in the mother room, etc ... that affects the flowering reaction. Every year is slightly different even working with the same clones.

Early September started quite rainy, cloudy and cold here, and finally all the strains have clearly started the flowering, now the weather recovered and we are having a great end of summer, perfect temps and strong light intensity, perfect to mature the indicas and to fatten up the sativas.

The strain that is finishing earlier here this year are PCKs, most of them are almost done in mid Sept from clone.

well just to note i plant all time with the moon phases...
i found out in the past that it makes some differences...
i never believe until i see it with my own eyes or try it by my self.
So for me growing whatever with moon phases works better than not to care!
We all want big bud's, healthy plants and potency results... a little care about when to plant etc. can make big differences... so it is also with harvest... harvest @ day isn't good @ all... all-time harvest @ end of night and watch the moon phase if you can...

Beautiful MadMac :) Thanks!

Here's one of our favourite Bangi Haze mothers from clone growing in soil, around 1 month in flowering.

High Dubi just discovered your exceptional variates and it looks like I´ve finally found my holy grail with your strains! Unfortunately I just started a grow 3 weeks before but as I realized what I really was looking for I whish I could change my whole grow...But I´m not a murder ...can`t kill all my ladies to get other ones in my bed;-) Now I have one more reason to finish that grow as quick as possible to start the real deal. My all time benchmark for sativas paradise was a 2 month stay in Ko Pangan, when I got a big bag full of blondbrown dirty something from a Thai gypsy fisherman who told me, that this ganja would be from Laos/Cambodia. The other one I got from him was completly seeded brown Thai ganja..also abso fuckin lutly outstanding trippin medicine. Those where the days..anyway: Mad Mac ( greetings he said!) gave me the advice to contact you, so here are my two questions: Do you have plans to bring out some Thai Strains? Any plans to bring out some Prabang kind of style hybrids short time females? Till then I´ll order some Malawi, Bangi, Golden Tiger to see, how close I can get to my old time memories!! Would be great to get an answer! Cheers mate
