Kygiacomo!!!

:woohoo: I ordered 2 Bangi haze and 1 Nepal jam until it is in stock:dance013:
i ordered the same thing lol i got a pack of bangi haze and pack of nepal jam. im in the humid southeast usa so i have to battle 100% humidity during full flower and gotta have very resistant strains otherwise they will be huge loss to bud rot.
Will you grow them indoors?
If not, the wait for next OD season is gonna kill you:)

hey Koondense! i will be doing them next year guerilla style. yes u are right the wait is gonna kill me,but once it does become that time it will make it biter sweet. i been wanting to grow the bangi for years but i havent due to them being regular seeds. i cannot afford to waste money on holes, carrying water and nutrients for a male plant since i am no breeder or have a infoor grow setup

Yeah I totally get it, got some BH regs and didn't pop them for the same reason.
Now I'm constantly getting more interested to try with crosses, doing it guerrilla style is risky but plants can be kept small and isolated for this purposes.
I think it would be interesting to cross BH with Cognition(the only reg-photo seed I grow this season), which is also congo X nepal but with different parental lines.

Can anyone of you experienced Bangi Haze growers help me determine the sex of this plant. I'm guessing female from the shape of the calyx, but absolutely no pistils showing on this one as there is on others. sorry for the bad pic.

thanks for any help you can provide.

GG IT LOOKS LIKE A FEMALE STIGMA TO ME BROTHER. THAT IS WHAT MY FEMALES LOOK LIKE AT THAT STAGE. GIVE IT A LITTLE WHILE LONGER IT WILL KICK THOSE PISTOLS FOR YOU. THE MALES WOULD HAVE LIKE A HEAD ON THE ENDS

Some of the bangi's take really long to show sex/ flower at higher latitudes. I think these are the congo leaners while the ones that show really fast are the nep?

I think its female because the males flower first than the females so the males can drop pollen from there sacks to the pistols of the female plants

I'd bet money it is female, but you never know until you know.

I have some more pictures of my super skinny Bangi Haze that probably looks a lot like the Congolese side of it's heritage:

Crazy man, right?

Smells like lemon menthol perfume with a touch of pepper and herb. I can't believe it has this classic NLD Christmas tree shape and is so early.

I can't wait to see how it smokes.

FlBoy - Looking very good. Please keep posting those pictures. I'd love to see how they are developing. Nice work.
:tiphat:

Cannabisso - I have two cuts from that plant in my terrarium rooting at this very moment. I doubt I'll reveg them outside, but if it smokes good, I'll use it as a mother for making seeds.

Lovely structure there, TB!
Yet I can't shake off the impression of a sad plant or is it just the fashion it grows?

Me also. It could be my care. It has been a slow grower from the start. The leaves do not reach for the sky like I would like. It is MUCH more sensitive to nutrient levels than my other plants. I have burned the leaf tips with too much fertilizer, and now it is much quicker to yellow from low nitrogen that I restrict on all my plants just before the beginning of flowering. I can't seem to win with this one. I can only do my best. Some of my best weed comes from very finicky and hard to grow plants. On the flip side, that plant is over 8 feet tall. I couldn't touch the top if I wanted to, without a ladder.

We'll see what happens.

Damn tb thats impressive. My plants havent started to flower at all. Either you have a super early pheno, I have 2 super slow phenos, your lat being (46?) a few degrees lower then mine (48) or all of the above has put a huge gap between our girls.

My outdoor bangis are even worse off then yours; I obviously underestemated their nutrient uptake under the sun vs. indoors. I have the same cuts going outside as I did inside this winter and tbey are eating 10x the amount I expected them to (although all my trees are). I have been giving everybody foliar sprays to catch them up and I swear I burn the bangis every time while nobody else seems to care. Kindof frustrating considering they are the hungryest bunch out of the group. They have a really pale yellow fade going on on the entire plant and canoe leaves. Not sure if its even N any more as my foliars dont really seem to be helping. Maybe sulfur? Only other thing I can think of.

Hi VK,

If I may, please don't worry about the yellowish color. Many of the individuals of this line have it, and it is not a nutrient deficiency sign. It is natural.

Here is a plant from last year with light yellow green color at a time when it was getting plenty of nitrogen from me:

Here it is later when I stopped giving it nitrogen. In this case, it does have a nitrogen deficit, but I do that on purpose. It did not make the buds small or less pungent. It does make them less leafy and more resinous:

Canoe leaves may be due to too much nutrients or too much water. This is my guess. Pictures would help others to diagnose.

I hope this helps,

Hey tb, these plants are obviously hungery for some reason or another. I can read a happy plant pretty well. It may be due to the unusualy hot, dry summer- I think you might be on to something. On the 2 larger ones there are a few big branches that are recovering and greening up/ not burning while the other 3/4 of the plant is sad.

Oh and I edited my previous post to you before noticeing you had posted, incase you didnt see.
