Auto AK47 Outdoor Grow

Spray some baking soda on it. Kills mold. Couple teaspoons per gallon. Won't keep it away forever though. May have to lay it over not sure if it's good to get it in the dirt in large amounts. I couldn't tell if it was mold. Could be. No air circulation in the bucket.

Thanks. I'll try the baking soda. It got really humid for a while, and the humid weather just pushed out... They look better today from yesterday... Not sure if it's mold or not... We'll see..

Well, this is FINALLY my 50th post! I harvested this evening because of the mold problem. Didn't want it to spread and take over everything.... As we all expected, harvest isn't huge, but I'm satisfied.. I appreciate the ones who gave me some support and advice. Hopefully my second grow on ICMAG will go better than the first. Learning as I go here. I'll post up dry weight when everything is said and done. Tried to get rid of the pieces that started to mold. Not the best first grow log, but I wanted to see how it would work.

Just not enough ventilation/light in the can to really let them do their thing.. Probably going to build a little cab for the next grow..

why dont you frame a small box 4 ft tall 2 ft wide and putthe white or green ,fiberglass green house materal on it and call it good ?

Well I think it turned out pretty cool considering it was a first grow n also done in the trash can id say you done real well.
Ive never trued the autoflowering strains but looking at that trimmed up plant pic im thinking they may well be worth a run.
These were fem seed as well eh?

why dont you frame a small box 4 ft tall 2 ft wide and putthe white or green ,fiberglass green house materal on it and call it good ?

That's sort of what I'm going to do next I guess. My plan is to build something like a 4x4x2 box, and put this mylar I already have on the sides.... Running fluorescents because it's cheap.. Since I don't have a lot of extra money, what should I do for ventilation/odor control? Computer fans? Also, what is the best route to go with the fluorescents? I checked out what they had at Home Depot, and think I have something figured out. My biggest concern is what to do about ventilation/odor control. The plan would be to start with this little box, later using it as a mother box, and building a flowering chamber on top when I have the money for a hps/mh light, and a real good fan/carbon filter.

Thanks man... I appreciate it. Yea, they were the LL fem auto ak seeds. I have no doubt they would do great under normal conditions. It was too much for them being in the can with no ventilation, and most likely not enough light....

How come you can only open your mouth to make a negative remark, and never open your mouth when I was asking for advice, over, and over, and over again. Had maybe three people give me advice on this thread, and I appreciate them. As for the ones that want to cut down the less experienced, go fuck yourselves. I apologize if you weren't trying to be smart StonedGolem. I already feel bad enough about having to cut them early anyway. I just didn't want the mold to spread, and thought it would be best at the time. I'm learning as I go. At least you guys see I'm trying. At least I didn't waste my first 50 posts bullshiting on other people's threads...

Thanks man! Yea, it's gonna feel good to smoke something I've grown. Messed around growing in the woods as a kid, but this is my first time making it to harvest, all be it an early harvest...

Any reason I couldn't use a 4" duct fan on a little cab(4x3x2)? I was going to try and rig up some ducting from the fan to a homemade carbon scrubber. Would a fan like this be strong enough? They sell them at the hardware store, but I don't think 80 cfm would be enough to pull air through a homemade carbon scrubber. For only doing 3 auto AK's, would I be ok without a carbon scrubber? Just trying to work out what to do about ventilation in a cheap little box....

I've been smoking some of the drying popcorn... Looks great, tastes good, but it's lacking in potency in a big way.... Could be growing conditions, or the fact I cut them early, I don't know. We'll see when the dry and cure is done.... Thought I'd throw it out there.

Trying to figure out what to do with the last three seeds, with my broke a$$.... Tempted to just throw them in pots in the backyard, but I'll probably try to make something... Looking at alot of the cfl grows, I don't know how happy I'd be with the results... I'm thinking of building a box with 2x4's and plywood. Dimensions 4x3x2.... I was going to rig up cfl's on surge protector strips. Use a strip of cfl's and a homemade reflector to hang above the plants, and use a strip of cfl's on the sides. For ventilation I was thinking about those cheap 4" duct fans.. All walls covered with mylar. How bad would the smell be without a carbon filter on three auto ak's? I have them drying with no odor control and the smell isn't bad at all. What kind of results are you guys getting with autos using cfl's? Thanks.
