I've always wanted to build a roof for those really heavy downpours, something easily put up and pulled down. Perhaps pvc and some clear light.

I had something similar built however, the hail was nearly the size of a 50cent piece and destroyed it in no time so opted for a bit more heavy duty.

after this crop I’ll tweak it slightly and add some kind of down pipe/gutter with a tank.

I'm lucky to have never had that problem of hail.. I've been spraying copper oxychlroide and a chilli water mixture for the passion vine hoppers. Seems to be working alright but I can only spray during windy days as flowering has set in well and truly.

What! Was it raining at your place too?! It bloody rained here, I can tell you. But not as bad as Lismore it seems (That's in Strolia, Buds).

We got just under a metre of rain over a few days. 300mls in one 24 hour period. One of the few times I am happy that I grow sativa's indoors.. Humidity was over 90% but plants didn't miss a beat.

Poor old Lismore, and other flooded areas. Heart goes out to those flooded, loss of life, animals too. Saw film of a cow on a Gold Coast beach, and another one on the roof of a house!

Oops, that information narrows me down to living in either QLD or NSW. I can feel the cops closin' in.
