Don't worry mate the ones I pulled definitely had to go, they were ones I had my eye on prior.
Ahh okay that clears things up for me that it's got to be pollen to create seed. The next hard bit then is finding the pollen source. And with all the unknown and from hermy seed I guess we've got to leave it to nature and just monitor and react as necessary.
I've noticed a few branches on one side of the AK have started producing seed on the callyxs, by where the hermy I pulled out the other week. Is there a high chance this will spead to the rest of the plant/garden? If so, can we get away with just removing those branches and taking the loss?
Sorry for all the qs, really wanna get this right and save as much as I can haha.

Unless it pollinated itself you do not have to pull it. A few seeds is not the end of the world. Anything with male parts you will probably want to pull though.
It's only pollen that can create seed, it's not a trait of the strain. If you have seed, there is something creating pollen in your garden.
It can be almost impossible to keep pollen away in a garden that has plants going Hermi. So best of luck if you are seeing hermies pop out. You can expect 50 percent of that seed stock to throw hermie traits, if that seed stock was made with a hermaphrodite. So it can be fighting odds.
Hopefully just an odd plant threw some balls and it will be fine. It's very hard to tell unless you are on the ground, and even then it can be hard to tell.
But yeah, pull plants with male parts. If you see something that looks polinated, the cause of that could be very close by.
