please remember guys that for a home grower of any skill, a lot of the weed sold in a lot of the coffee shops is nothing special. this is not some thing that you find only in the greenhouse. it's a direct result of the illegality to produce a product that's in high demand, with a very quick turn over. recently dutch growers are having a harder time then ever to stay a step ahead of the "grow squad", or what ever they are called. the point is a lot of product is taken at the earliest opportunity, often too early for our way of thinking. but it's a natural result of the illegal status of the commercial growers. if you look well and spend some time about your selection, you can find good smoke. but don't expect every strain on the menu to look and taste as if you'd just grown, flushed, dried and cured it. :D

Hi gaius

Yeah you're right, greenhouse Css are just 3 of many Css in adam that sell avarage weed (though their prices are higher than most of the other) Nevertheless there are shops that have some good buds around. The Diesel i bought two weeks ago, in "the noon", was so delicious :yummy:

Next thing is that greenhouse sells their own strains in their Css, what is better advertising for a strain than to sell some buds of it? So they surely try to sell weed that represents the strain of which they sell seeds, imho ;)

greetings

I'm not a satisfied customer of the Gh Cs, in fact i'm disappointet and sure i'm never gonna spend a single euro in one of your shops again...

It's a pity man. I am sure that you can find something special for your fine connoisseur taste.
Personal suggestion for this weekend:
The Silver Pearl (I am burning it as I write this post.....:joint:) is awesome at the moment. Very crispy, extremely white, and sweet as candy. Quite stoney, relaxing, good for a saturday afternoon.
Also the AK47 is really really good at the moment. Not to mention the Arjan's Haze #2, sooooo woody and nutty! The CBD is up the sky, with a really hazy but deep-dark body-like effect. Very introspective.

Flowering Time on Strawberry Haze

Flowering Time on Strawberry Haze

ASH - 14 days into flower using 600 watt Hortilux HPS. I'll post a few more pics later. But this question is for Franco. Am I looking at 8-9 weeks of flower before harvest and what kind of yield can I expect?

This is the best of the 4 females.

Strawberry Haze Day 21 of 12/12

Strawberry Haze Day 21 of 12/12

Here's a few photos of my Strawberry Haze at 21 days after switching to 12/12. These stretch alot. 2 of the plants (not shown here) are at 40 inches (100cm) I started them at 10 inches (25cm) with the exception of pheno 1 which is really short, dense, and bushy. Really wish I had the area to keep a mother plant. This would have been perfect for me on a SOG. Oh well.

Using a 600 watt Horilux HPS (has some blue spectrum) and a digital ballast. They haven't really needed much in the way of nutes but I am feeding them Tiger bloom every other feeding. After 21 days they are just starting to show signs of packing on some weight and density. Looks like they are going to need at least 9 weeks, probably more like 10 or 11. We'll see.

Franco- It is nice to see GH represented in these forums in a respectful manner, reguardless of some of the complaints. I have visited your shops on many occassions, i stay in your GH Effect hotel...I would like to think the attitude you portray on this thread is one which everyone at the company takes on.

A question I would like to ask is this. If it is such a task to supply all 3 shops with the same quantity/quality of cannabis, why not limit the selection? I realize this may sound like a poor idea from a finanical view...but if you would allow your growers the time to properly dry and cure the product, I think you would experience a lot less negativity on these forums. I have been disapointed as well, but can respect the struggle to maintain quality control.

Respect,

Germ

Orangelazaris that plant looks very nice. What oder does it give off when you rub the stem and smell your fingers? I would suspect a sour strawberry.

All I can tell you is I bought a 5 pack of Arjan's Strawberry haze feminzed seeds from seed boutique, they came in the circular sealed pack from GHS and this is what I am getting. They do have a creamy strawberry smell, but yes, they also look indica to me as well. Pretty broad leaves but according to the GHS website, it is a mix of a swiss sativa, NL5, and Haze. So there is definitely an indica influence. Looks like the ones I am getting lean more towards the NL5 side. http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/

IwannagethighOG, those were actually my plants. Orangelazaris was making a well founded comment that these "haze" plants looked more indica. Looks like a lot of us agree on that. But the smell is definitely a creamy strawberry smell.

Thanks for the feedback on this everyone. Much appreciated. As the plants mature, I'll be posting updates along with yield and of course a smoke report. There isn't much information anywhere about this plant, so it has to start somewhere.

MMm, a strawberry keeper pheno of NL#5/Haze. Cross it with a sativa dom male and now your gonna see some Straw sativa phenos with an sugery like inidicay bud appearence.

ASH Day 25 of Flower

ASH Day 25 of Flower

Here are a few recent shots of three of my plants. All are Strawberry Haze and all are different. The short bushy pheno has piqued my interest. Buds are just beginning to show a little weight but I suspect these will be just an average yielding plant. I'd be happy with 200-250g out of the 4 plants.

The bushy one. This may be the surprise of the lot when all is said and done.

This is probably going to be the biggest yielder

Hoping for a good finish. I had to tie this one and another identical one down. Very stretchy. They are both over 40 inches. Fortunately, the stretching has subsided.

Main shoot I hope fills out nicely.

I used FF Tiger Bloom the first 3 weeks of flower at full strength every other feeding, alternating with only water. The Tiger Bloom has enough nitrogen in it and saw these through their stretch nicely. I'm now running Earth Juice Bloom which has no nitrogen. I'll keep an eye on these in case I need to add any nitrogen later on. So far all are very healthy. I am going to run these at least 9 weeks, but 10 or 11 is more likely. We'll see.

The best way to describe the smell is a creamy strawberry. Very pleasant and is not overpowering. Don't even need to run a carbon filter, but out of habit, I do anyway. Thanks for the comment, Cedarberry.

Thanks Alex-F. No supercropping done on that one although I did tie down the 2 stretchy ones and trim off a few of the lower branches.

So far these plants have been very easy to maintain. (fingers crossed) :canabis: :canabis: :canabis: :canabis:

Update To Strawberry Haze Grow

Update To Strawberry Haze Grow

Short bushy pheno day 38. Still has a ways to go. I figure around another 25-39 daze. But damn, these are smelling and looking really good.

Taller pheno. Probably gonna yield more weight. Day 45. Another 18-32 days

Third different pheno. Taller and more delicate. This is the one that really is gonna do it. Leans more to the sativa side. Again at day 45 so...still gots some time to go.
