Some closeups from ASH (Arjan's Strawberry Haze), from Green House Seed Company.

I love this plant, it has such a complex taste/smell...... sweet as strawberries and yet woody and hazy in the background.
The yield is not amazing, but the quality is superbe.

i assume the .gh means you are somehow affiliated with greenhouse?
i don't really know if i could dig a haze with someones name branded on it after having neville's haze. its damn near impossible to top neville in regards to breeding.

any haze that begins with "arjan's" doesn't sound too appealing. neville did it because that man can breed his ass off, does arjan think his name is a mark of quality?

think he is the breeder for gh

he is the owner of greenhouse, arjan usually hires people to do his breeding, which hopefully is still the case.

Hey 25gs, pay attention to the Reservior Seeds help desk. Those Arjan bobbleheads will be seeing some real SSH very soon. I'm sure they will be in shock at the total quality they see, something lacking from their previous home;).

Question About Yield

Question About Yield

How tall do these get indoors? If you put them to 12 - 12 at 18 inches will they stay below 5 feet?

lets all stay civil folks. we are all friends of the plant together. there is nothing wrong with civilized discussion, but when thing deteriorate to a name calling match then the objective has been missed.

those strawbery haze buds do look mighty fine though eh? why the hell didn't arjan enter that? or another strain with proper trichome coverage and taste?

Dear Virtuoso,
it is sometimes difficult for outsiders to comprehend the logistical challenges involved in supplying the Cannabis Cup crop. I will try to explain some of them.

For the 2006 High Times Cannabis Cup, Arjan and I produced (as you can see on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHut1XYZDVw ) a wonderful AUH#1 crop.
It gave about 6 kilograms of great bud (after drying, curing, selection and packaging).
The rest of the weed needed to satisfy the demand of the Cannabis Cup came from crops of AUH#1 purchased from other growers. The quality of these last crops was, of course, slightly lower. You surely came across some of these blisters.

Maintaining a menu with over 25 strains of weed and 10 types of hash (multiplied per 3 coffeeshops) is a very challenging goal. A goal we achieve 365 days a year thanks to the passion, the skills, the energy and commitment of our team. We committ to our customers and to the Cannabis Plant.
Thousands of customers come to the 3 Green House Coffeeshops on any busy day. Most of them, return. They are impressed by the quality and the service. Quality and service create the atmosphere we are proud of.

In the last 5 years the "attentions" of Law Enforcement agencies have increased dramatically in The Netherlands concerning the production of cannabis. More and more gardens are busted, and more and more growers face harder sentences than ever before. This generally negative climate has increased prices and lowered the quality of the products available. Many times Arjan has to turn down a crop and decide to be "sold out" of a particular strain for a few days or weeks.
Quality control is one of the pillars of the Green House philosophy, but sometimes we have to compromise to cope with a constantly increasing demand, while our sources become scarcer and more expensive.

Given this situation, you can maybe understand our challenges a bit better.
Anyway, I would like to apologise to you and any other unsatisfied customers.
I am sure that I can help you find some strains you will love on our menu. Let me know if you come by the Green House, and I will be glad to assist you.

You see, this is a cannabis forum. It has the purpose of posting information and pictures about cannabis, and to exchange opinions and comments.
I just opened a thread on a very popular strain in the "show it" - "flower pix" section, and I posted some.... flower pix! (the last one of which never posted or published before).
Maybe you can post some pics too! Or open another thread! I am sure it's gonna be really cool.

Ciao Squaretooth!

If you grow the Strawberry Haze indoor, using 20 liters (5 gallons) containers, you should flower them when they are 10-12 inches to finish at about 4,5 to 5 feet. Make sure you use a good grow light (blue spectrum) to avoid unnecessary stretching. In case, you can bend the plants down using yoyos or strings.
