Count me & a few friends in. I plan on entering as a grower & get 2 passes + 1 judges pass(hopefully) for my one friend that certainly qualifies for 1...imho. Not sure how that works w/ the expert judge & regular judge, but makes no difference as i'am sure time will tell & i'll start checking seedbay as soon as ya say..thanks for the updates & info Dg. Ya know I had a bike year before last and it sure was fun touring with Trichome Farmer that way. I love riding so this next time I will make sure my bike is rented right away. You dont want to miss the fun on a bike in Amsterdam if you can ride because the Dam is a big flat bike park where the biker is king.

Just remember that while bikers are king and have right of way often the Tram is the Emporer and it will run over anyone. Bikes, cars or pedestrians so get out of the way when it comes along. BOG

High Ronley, looking forward to seeing you again in 2006! Yes, the special included events we arrange make it such that we do not include a guest pass for grower entrants....it costs nothing for a grower to enter. We will include a pass for the Breeder entrants because the breeders are charged a fee to enter. We can, however, include an entrance pass for grower entrants but would then have to charge an entry fee for the growers, like we do the breeders. I think it's best we leave the entry fee free for the growers so is best to count on purchasing a guest ticket once I get them up on Seedbay....when?.....hopefully soon.

I am confused
I understand that growers can enter for free.
But do I still need to buy a pass? of so will there be a reduction in the price? after all we are providing 30 grams of the best competition quality weed toward the fun and the party in order to make it the succsess that it will be.
If I bought 30 grams of winner weed in any of the coffeeshops it would cost at least 9 euros per gram. (total 270 euros.)
Just asking and putting forth a thought/suggestion/opinion on this. Obviously whatever you guys decide for your event goes.

If my secret plot (weed-land, not mental scheme) goes well, HHH (Hawaiian Haze Hash) will also be available for first place consideration.

Yes last year the Expert Judge Passes were 210 euros ($275 based on currency exchange rate of last year)....however, for that cost....let's see, let's do a breakdown shall we?

26 entries to judge x 9 euros (approx cost if purchased in coffee shop) = 234 euros ($282 based on current exchange rate)

All included events, same as guest pass = 120 euros ($144 based on current exchange rate....was $175 last year at the exchange rate at that time)

234 for smokeables
120 event inclusions (cost of guest pass but included for judges)
354 euros ($427 based on current exchange rate)

Soooooo, 354 euros ($427) versus the 210euros ($275) charged judges, I'd say the judges got ALOT for the cost they paid to judge.

However, we ARE doing things a bit different for 2006, and making more judge passes available by breaking the categories down into Hash, Sativa, and Indica. This way it won't be so much a person has to analyze over a few days resulting in giving a much better assessment of the entry by the judges.

By breaking things down into separate categories and offering judge passes per category, that gives a person who only likes sativas and hash the option of purchasing just a sativa judge pass and a hash judge pass, or just a sativa pass....or those who only want to judge indicas the option to just purchase an indica judge pass....or someone who wants to judge it all the opportunity to purchase all 3 passes. We have not yet determined the cost of each pass so that information is not available yet, will be announced when the passes are ready for sale.

Bloody bargain.............the fun to be had can not be valued, it is priceless and the smoke is astoundingly good value for money, not to mention quality......even those without expert passes will not be short of smoke, often 8 spliffs going round a table of 5, plus bubble hash in the lovely pipes we were given......then Trichofarmer pops up with some serious bubble.....then someone brings over a volcano bag to pass round....
seriously, dont try and think about cost, if you can afford it you will love it, if you cant afford it get an extra job coz your gonna be missing out.........so many good hearted people coming together with a shared love, we are a real diverse bunch and everyone will fit in, its the most exciting time for me since xmas as a kid......it really cant come quick enough.

Thanks for clearing up a few questions, truecannabliss. I wondered how things would shake out on the smokin end of things...both for those with judges passes..and those without. I knew everyone would be taken care of...I just wasn't sure to what level!

$275 sounds like a bargain to me. Unfortunately, time is my constraint...not cash. I'd love to put my 34 years of daily smoking of all sorts of weed/hash to the test...

but in the end, no matter what happens with passes..etc., I'm hopin to sample some truly fine wares and put some faces with the names!

Nice idea on breaking the j. passses into catagories. I always wondered how someone could properly sample over 20 varities & dif. hashes in a couple 2 day's & when you mentioned somewhere about getting there several days early if planning on being a judge i thought it sounded like a better...more do'able task.
Now with the pass breakdown it really sounds like a very good representation of the true 'Kindness' will prevail ...not that it hasn't in the past as i believe you & Gypsy are very honest folk & it's not an easy biz to say the least. I can't wait to meet w/ many gifts...yes i've read several places about the american junk food..no worries Dg i'll be one of the many brining ya some goodies(pmw/anyspecifics) & for GN (& crew) how about an 1/8 of bubble you pick from the 6 varities i currently grow & i'll send it w/ my entry...just pm me if ya have the time w/ which strain you want the bubble & grade/micron.
