Jelly sense you brought it up.

I want to make a few lotions for my sister. She has hip and joint problems from being born with problems. Her feet were basily on backwards. SO after countless years of operations back in the early 70's and braces and wheel chairs she learned to walk through sheer determination. So Im always looking to help her and keep her off those damn meds the drs try to push on us.

Also my wife has bad menstrual cramps during that time of month and cannabis helps her through this tough time everytime but I want her to try a good cbd and see if she can get the effects of pain relief without being buzzed to pick the kids up lol.....which she would never do btw. But this causes her to use over the counter drugs and I would like to stop that we all know what Ibuprofen and Tylenol can do.

Excited though a buddy has the Sour Tsunami and he swears it takes away headaches everytime. While it does have some THC that still sounds great. Normally with me smoking makes a headache worse. So I have to try it.

you can get them by the pound on your favorite auction sites.
just type in "raw hemp seed" or "viable hemp seed"...
I bought 3 pounds of them for 20 dollars! I put a hand full in some wet paper towels and in like 3 days the paper towel was unfolded from so many germinating.

hope this helps good luck!:tiphat:

Guys i had birdfeed given to the birds in my garden this winter and now it grows everywhere where enough water was available and if the birds didn't find them. Even on wood ! The started to sprout since february and we're in mid europe, actually deep winter. They still struggle but they survived a lot of cold days being 1-2 inches high The have a strong will to survive. Do you think the make a good breeding partner?

Don't waste your time using hemp to make plants to get high. Hemp are normally grown for textiles, rope, seeds, seed oil, etc.

If your cultivating a drug type of cannabis. Don't let hemp plants pollinate them of your going to get weak plants in the next generation.

Post some pics of those hemp plants sprouting all over the place.

We need hemp pics in this thread. :tiphat:

i think it would be cool to create a feral population of cannabis.

Like these:

Feral Hemp Patch with Dr. Dave West

I'm going to use some of my purchased Hemp seeds and some seeds from
any harvested Cannabis females that I grow until next Spring to try this out.

I don't remember if you're in the UK or in North America but in both cases you could very well succeed, unless the soil is too poor and acidic like it often is up north.

It's only "Finola" if it came from Jace, otherwise you are getting seed reproduced (maybe!) from Finola. There is a lot of industrial hemp seed available in the US right now if you live in a state with hemp production laws. Colorado, Oregon, and Vermont are leading the charge in that regard. Most state-side hemp producers focus on CBD production and use cultivars that are 10%+ CBD (Finola is around 2%). There are quite a few very cool new varieties that have been bred here in the past few years.

I think it'll be a while before we see hemp grown for fiber in the US. Every hemp project I've seen thus far is geard toward CBD production.

Corky,
Before you sow that first hemp seed outdoors, please be considerate of other growers in the area. You could ruin somebodys medicine & not even know it.

It won't be planted within 5 miles of any residential or commonly used areas.
It wouldn't stand a chance as you can imagine it would be destroyed by the
ignorant people of this World if it was seen.

Corky, you just haven't been paying attention. Hemp seeds are not hard to get, even in the US, and they are a hell of a lot cheaper then those rip off seed banks we all shop at. I've been breeding hemp/high TCH hybrids for about three years now. As already suggested, look at the hemp hub thread. There are recent additions.
